Here is my report at 10 AM EDT on September 1, 2019 from just across the street from the cone of Hurricane Dorian. On this side of the street everything is fine with clear weather as you can see. This is in stark contrast from across the street where they are inside the cone of Hurricane Dorian with some really bad weather conditions including stormy weather and winds which are kicking up. As long the cone of Hurricane Dorian remains across the street, I expect everything here will remain fine.
Why would you not film ACROSS THE STREET for a second at least to show us the difference if this is the case??
It’s just you talking in sunny weather for 3 minutes lol
Hey! Do that trick like they did in the movie, Twister. Walk to the middle of the street and hold out a Coke can and let the wind rip it out of you hand. That would be COOL! But watch out for flying cows.
We’re glad you are okay - things have got to be really really BAD inside the cone across the street! Stay safe
If it doesn't, you could always move over another block....
Well, a sort of class system has built up here. Across the street are the Cone People inside the cone of Hurricane Dorian and they are jealous of us fortunate people just outside the one so for my own safety, I don’t cross the street into the cone. Not just because of the weather conditions but because of the animosity that has already built up between the Cone People and the Outside the Cone People. BTW, I have no prejudices against the Cone People...as long as they stay on their side of the street.
I remember the daily summer downpour in Homestead. You’d hear a noise increasing in volume. Turn around, and it was pouring rain on the other side of the street. You could outrun it if you weren’t going too far. Once. I heard another odd noise, and barely got missed by a falling “leaf.” About an 8 pound Royal palm frond. Nutty place, Florida.
“If it doesn’t, you could always move over another block.... “
Or just wait and let Dorian move you to another block.
We expect to be in the Donut of Destruction later in the week.
Well I am doomed. Jim Cantore is less than 20 miles away from where we live.
Of course having tempted fate, the track of Hurricane Dorian is going to move West and South just to get you...
I’m in hollywood just south of PJ.
I’m avoiding the cone death by staying here.
Great photo
