UPDATE 3— Things are not good at this point..she started having contractions 2 minutes apart but doctor had a very hard time checking her because she was screaming from the pain. She is 30 weeks so the doctors have started steroids to try to help the baby’s lungs just in case they need to deliver. They feel at this point, with the pain she is in, she could not deliver vaginally so they would take the baby via C-section. Somehow, with whatever happened to her body pushed her into a diabetic state- she was not diabetic before- but now her blood sugars are wreaking havoc and the steroid shots, though hopefully helping the baby, are not helping with her blood sugars. Her mom and dad are having a very hard time watching this unfold.I know with everything else we are hearing in the world right now (boat catastrophe, Texas, etc) maybe I am selfish for posting and updating...please forgive me ...the parents truly appreciate and are thankful for all your prayers!
Prayers for everything mentioned, I believe God is big enough to understand all of our requests, even better than we do. We don't always know what his will is for us but... Jesus I trust in thee.

Dear Father in Heaven,
We humbly reach out to You for Gracie and her baby. We ask You to clothe her and her baby in the righteousness of Your Dear Son Jesus, Who shed His Precious Blood for Gracie and her baby, and all her loved ones.
We ask that You stem the foul tide of infection and imbalance which is attacking her body, and restore her physical equilibrium, so that her baby can be nourished properly.
We ask You, Precious Holy Spirit, to imbue her physicians and other healthcare people with Supernatural Wisdom and Reason, and that they will be inspired to perform every correct procedure to hasten our friend’s Recovery.
We pray for her baby, who is a real person, and is probably struggling as well.
Most of all, we pray for Gracie, her doctors, her family, and her friends, that they will see the Author and Finisher of their Faith at work during this emergency, and that they will put all their trust in HIM.
This we agree together, in the Holy Name of Jesus.

Reading these updates is so heart-wrenching and pains me so much. I continue to pray for Gracie and baby’s health, successful birth and recovery.

I’ll guess that the Steroids are Prednisone.
Stupid doc’s order Steroids and then say “You are Diabetic”
Father God,
We don’t know this family, but You do.
You created every fiber of their being, and You know every hair on their heads.
Lord God Almighty, we cannot see; but You can see every element of their lives and all that surrounds them.
We pray, Lord, for any demonic activity to cease; for any guilt to be confessed and repented, for any unbelief in Your great Love and Mercy to be dissolved.
May every prayer offered be one of firm faith in Your Healing Hand.
Let no doubt in Your plan weaken the minds and hearts of Gracie and her family members.
If any are not saved, may the scales fall from their eyes and lead them to Divine Revelation, repentance and the joy of Your blessed assurance.
Surround this woman and her baby with the pure light of Your Spirit.
Calm her pain and her fear, that she may relinquish control and lean on You.
May the words and expressions of her family and caregivers be only love, encouragement and reassurance.
To the Christian, any outcome for a baptized person is a blessing; we are Yours.
