Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
Ok, so he was a clueless nitwit 31 years ago, too. Good to know. – In what can only be described as an act of pure desperation in the wake of their candidate’s neverending string of inexplicable gaffes, Joe Biden’s campaign on Tuesday rolled out the neurosurgeon who performed two surgical procedures to correct brain aneurysms on the former Vice President back in 1988. Unfortunately for Biden, the surgeon, Dr. Neal Kassell, was able to only offer faint praise for his elderly patient, telling Politico that “He is every bit as sharp as he was 31 years ago. I haven’t seen any change.”
Um, you’ll have to excuse us if that doesn’t give us much comfort, given that the nation’s official Unfrozen Caveman Senator has been running round the country blurting out embarrassing and disturbing statements that must make his staff cringe in horror on pretty much a daily basis. In the most recent example, on Tuesday Biden talked about his memories of the 1968 assassinations of Martin Luther King and Robert F. Kennedy thusly:
“When Bobby Kennedy and Dr. King had been assassinated in the 70s, the late 70s when I got engaged,” he said in the run-up to making a point about how times have changed.
That whopper comes just a couple of days after he recited his memories of visiting and comforting the victims of the mass shootings in Parkland, Florida while he was serving as vice president. The only problem with that recollection is that that tragedy took place in 2018, well over a year after Biden had left office. But hey, that shouldn’t surprise us: After all, this is a guy who thought the El Paso shootings took place in Houston and who placed the Dayton, Ohio killings somewhere in Michigan.
Let’s all be honest about this: The man is not in full possession of his faculties, and his campaign staffers don’t know what to do about it.
Think about how desperate they’ve become: Before yesterday, it’s likely that less than 1 in 1000 Americans were even aware that Biden had had not one, but two bouts with brain surgery 31 years ago. Given the fake news media’s ongoing efforts to protect Biden, it is doubtful the subject would have ever been raised during the course of the campaign. Today, that number is probably between 5 and 10 percent thanks to the news reporting related to his brain surgeon’s comments.
It doesn’t get any more desperate than when you intentionally call attention to your own candidate’s advanced age and infirmities. It’s like a military unit calling in artillery fire on its own position.
The Biden campaign’s panic comes amid the candidate’s softening polling numbers and as more and more of the Democrat Party’s poobahs publicly express doubts about Biden’s sharpness and ability on the campaign trail.
Some Democrats are doing even more than that. Someone in the Obama camp leaked information to their leftist media allies a few days ago indicating that Obama repeatedly tried to dissuade Biden from making a presidential run, out of fear that Biden’s serial bumbling and bad behavior would damage The One’s “legacy”, such as it is.
Here is what the reliably leftist GQ magazine had to say about it in an aggressive hit piece published over the weekend:
The two men spoke at least a half dozen times before Mr. Biden decided to run, and Mr. Obama took pains to cast his doubts about the campaign in personal terms.”You don’t have to do this, Joe, you really don’t,” Mr. Obama told Mr. Biden earlier this year, according to a person familiar with the exchange. Mr. Biden — who thinks he could have defeated Donald Trump four years ago—responded by telling Mr. Obama he could never forgive himself if he turned down a second shot at Mr. Trump.
That “person familiar with the exchange” was almost certainly someone very close to Obama, someone like, oh, say, Valerie Jarrett, maybe?

Since announcing his candidacy, Biden has proven himself exceptionally gaffe-prone, repeatedly referring to former British prime minister Theresa May as Margaret Thatcher, claiming he was vice president during the 2017 high school shooting in Parkland, Florida, and saying, “Poor kids are just as bright, just as talented, as white kids,” at a speech in Iowa. Apart from making verbal stumbles, he’s also defended his working relationship with segregationists in Congress.
The Times also reports that in March, Obama summoned Biden’s top campaign advisers, Anita Dunn and Kate Bedingfield, to his Washington office. Multiple sources confirmed to the Times that the ex-president warned the advisers to make sure that Biden doesn’t “embarrass himself” or “damage his legacy.”
This is what is known in the political world as a “distancing effort.” Obama his own self can see the handwriting on the wall where Biden is concerned, and has his loyal minions out planting damaging stories like this one which are designed to disavow any notion that Obama played any role in encouraging Biden to make this run.
So, next time Creepy Uncle Joe refers to “my good friend, Barack,” know that that “good friend” has repeatedly stuck a knife in his buddy’s back.
But hey, it’s nobody’s fault but Joe’s.

They really need to replay that VP debate between Biden and Ryan(?). When Biden acted like an buffoon and tried to laugh down all of the questions, instead of answering.
The guy is NOT right. And is just completely creepy.

I almost wonder if the Jarrett/ Obama crew thought they would get Biden in and just “put the band back together again”. Only to realize that Old Joe might want his own crew.
And now that ValJarJar Binks realizes SHE is not going to be running the country if Biden were to be elected. It’s just time to throw him over and find a new puppet/ figure head.
I REALLY hope Biden the Slow is the dems’ nominee. Trump, with the energy of a 30-year-old, can make five campaign stops in a day... Biden’s staff will be limiting him to less that that in a week.

There are WAY too many people of all political sides saying Biden’s campaign is “walking dead”. In the next few weeks he will pull out for “health or family concerns”.
When he does, there will be a huge vacuum to be filled. None of the other 20+ candidates are capable of filling it. No, they will need a savior, a Super(wo)Man, none other than You Know Who.
I think Hillary will try again. I’m not saying Hillary will make it to nomination, but she will try. The tug-of-war between her and Lizzy Warren will be a sight to behold.
Understand, she does not want to be part of the circular firing squad … she will wait until the debates are done or nearly done. Remember, she has name recognition and and national campaign organization that far exceeds any of these other 20 pipsqueaks.
Reasons in her and her supporters’ minds she should be selected:
1. You owe it to her.
2. The age thing doesn’t matter since Lizzy and Bernie are in there.
3. First woman president.
4. Revenge against Trump.
5. More moderate than the other candidates (I know, unbelievable).
I doubt he was very bright beforehand, but Biden has had CHUNKS of his brain removed due to aneurysms.

How Biden won that debate with Ryan has always been a mystery.
The demise of Biden’s campaign is greatly exaggerated.

We ignore and belittle polls at our own risk. Biden would supposedly defeat Trump (so would two women Dems)—God forbid.
Yes, Hillary was ahead but did not win in 2016. But there is no guarantee all polls are all wrong.
What if the Dems are appealing to the rotten suburban women who don’t like the Trump tweets? Idiots. They could ruin our country in 2020.
There are “moderates” in the race on the D side who have not gotten much of a look from the voters because Biden has that lane sewn up. If he dropped out his support would NOT migrate to Sanders or Warren, it would go to someone in the 1% camp currently.
