How does Grounding work with other Freepers?
Posted on 08/03/2019 5:14:37 PM PDT by SamAdams76
Friendly reminder that I'm posting this under BLOGGERS & PERSONAL so anything goes. I can post pretty much anything I want in here and it doesn't have to do with anything about politics.
So grounding.
The premise is that the human body is electrically charges and so it is necessary to put on your bare feet and put them on the ground for a while with no shoes or socks.
Sounds all new-agey and hippie-like. I know.
But I am a convert. When I spend some time outdoors in my bare feet on a regular basis, I really do feel better. I sleep very good too and have vivid dreams. I have more energy.
Spent a week on the beach recently and pretty much went barefoot 100% of the time. It was amazing for my well-being and my blood pressure was a near perfect 118/78.
So maybe it's a bunch of New Age claptrap to many but I do think there is some merit to going barefoot on a regular basis.
Winter is tough thought. I did go out in the snow last winter in barefeet but could never last longer than a few minutes. Not sure if that's enough for proper grounding.

I sleep with a grounding mat and it seems to reduce muscle pain in my legs. If I don't use it for a few days, I feel a tingling sensation when I start again. I tested it with a meter and noticed my voltage changed when I touched the mat.
Dr. Mercola caused me to give it a try. More about the
body and voltage.

Grounding/Earthing is legitimate.
At the beach, you are also getting the added benefits of negative ions and, via spray or sea, magnesium chloride.

“And Chiggers,”
That’s racist. They’re Chigroes.
I “ground” when I fall down. Can’t
feel anything in my left foot due
to an accident. Navigating uneven
terrain at night is a challenge.

Ask a pilot in an arid place if grounding matters when refueling.

It wasn't an Air Base. I only mentioned we were near a Dobbins ARB ATC RADAR. It was a MCI facility later bought out by Verizon. The Dobbins ARB ATC RADAR facility was since then closed and relocated mostly because business and industry encroached around it as it was not on the base proper.
The Microwave and Fiber Optics junction facility with the fence was twenty miles from Dobbins. In my 31 years I was assigned at eight different locations in the Atlanta Metro area. Come to think of it, I was reassigned between some of those locations several times a piece.
Something cool was the fence, M/W Tower pedestals and construction rebar were connected with at least 3/4 inch steel cables by thermite welding. Quite a thing to watch.

Supposedly. Perhaps in body but not in spirit.
My cousins lived in the country. I lived in around Seattle 1950’s. When I came out to their place, before we moved to the country they called me city slicker!!

[ Ice is an insulator. You must stay in one spot until all the ice and snow are melted, so you can directly contact the ground. If you do that, I'm sure it will have a great effect on you. ]

To: PIF
Thanks, it must have something to do with the number of characters or the links or number of paragraphs, because I can make shorter paragraphs and just space a line and it works without needing the code break. There is a trigger of some sort that then requires it.
To: Openurmind
If there is any .html code or symbol in a post, it converts to all .html. There are two ‘cures’ - go through the post and eliminate or convert the .html or just insert < p > in the paragraph breaks.
