Used to see this a lot on my parents B&W tv 📺 growing up in OC in the early 60s.

I miss the Horizontal / Vertical Buttons they used to have on TV’s. Can’t find any on my LG Flat Screen.

In the TV technology biz, these test patterns were so important that there were tubes dedicated just to that. The pattern would be scanned in a vacuum so that it would be completely dust free.

At the site, the reader is admonished not to compare the knowledge this test requires to the knowledge required of students today. I agree. The realization that our children are uneducated is best left to the professionals.

Check.
Things look better. Earlier today, when I reloaded the page everything on the news feed was from 2002. After that I reloaded the page and it came back to the current time frame.
