The polls don't look good for Donald Trump. I mean, by any normal yardstick, the President is heading for a defeat in the 2020 election.
He's lagging behind in many of the crucial states that swung the White House his way in 2016 - like Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
Indeed, the polls look so worrying that Trump's team fired several internal pollsters when the shock numbers leaked, in a Kim Jong-un style 'do not bring the boss bad news' move.
Yet when Trump launched his 2020 campaign on Tuesday night in Orlando, Florida, I didn't sense I was watching a guy who's going to lose.
In fact, I got the complete opposite feeling. Trump exuded the confident all-conquering swagger of someone who defied all polls and logic last time, and fully intends to do so again...

Funny how you have to go to England to get the real news..
That's all you need to hear right there.

I see a presidential re-election campaign as theirs to lose. Just look at the last 60 years. And if most people are feeling more positive about the future than before you were president, you should be a shoe-in. Heck, Obama’s first term was dismal, yet he still won re-election.
It won’t be easy but RATS are having a hard time getting traction in the Midwest.
Ryan might have lost WI for us though.
The entire thing is based on a Fox News poll - Fox News polls have been the most wildly biased and the most consistently inaccurate of any Ive seen in the past four years.
Someone is peeing and the wind is howling.
Lets not get complacent, folks.
I have no doubt Donald Trump would easily win a free and fair election in 2020. This begs the question, can we still manage to have free and fair national elections in the USA?
The Democrats are putting a lot more effort into by-passing the Electoral College, censoring conservative thought online, importing and registering illegal aliens and generally cheating than fielding viable candidates.
Trump has proven himself to be a fighter and I pray he can fight back against all that. I have no idea what the hell we are going to do in 2024.
>Indeed, the polls look so worrying that Trump’s team fired several internal pollsters when the shock numbers leaked, in a Kim Jong-un style ‘do not bring the boss bad news’ move.
They mis-spelled “In a normal business ‘do not break NDA’ move.
Against who? Groping Joe is history.
We MUST NOT get complacent. This is the latest Dem tactic, so enough people will think there is nothing to worry about, Trump will win easily, and they will not bother to vote. Then, of course Trump would NOT WIN.
So, whether you see/hear good news or bad, or whatever polls say, just be sure to get out and VOTE.
President Trump NEEDS YOUR VOTE.
“Trump exuded the confident all-conquering swagger”
Yes, Sir! That’s our president.
His policies (corp tax cuts, deregulation, renegotiating trade deals, etc) have turned our economy around, is bringing back mfg, and is putting our people back to work (the dems said this couldn’t be done). If these good tidings continue, he’ll have no problem getting reelected, keeping the senate and retaking the house. Remember, the dems promise to do just the opposite and their policies would destroy the economy and our country.
Headline should read:
Forget the polls, rampaging Trump’s going to win BIGLY in 2020
There fixed it.....:)
In most elections involving an incumbent President, the opponent’s campaign is usually based on nothing more than opposition to the incumbent. When he does that, he tends to lose. Look at Mondale, Dole, Kerry, and Romney. Other times, the opponent actually focuses on his own, affirmative vision for where he thinks the country should be. When he does so, he tends to win. Look at Reagan or Bill Clinton.
One thing is clear: The Democrats definitely have a message and a vision, and it isn’t just opposition to Trump. It is a crazy, dangerous vision, and I don’t think any of the Democrat candidates have the charisma of Reagan or Clinton, but we shouldn’t forget the fact that they are actually running on a platform this time.
Dont think it will be an easy time. A lot depends upon who the Dims nominate. A lot of Trump voters in 16 are dissatisfied with him not keeping promises.
He has upset a large number of 2nd amendment base with his lack of support for us.
Bush 1 was almost guaranteed a win at a similar point in 1991.
Voter fraud, a highly motivated bunch of libtards all cause me a lot of concern. Plus if a few swing states put pot on the ballot it will bring out another group of dims.
Trump lost a lotta house seats in states he won. That’s my big concern.
He has almost raised as much money as the entire Democrat field.
But he has also already spent 2/3 of what he has raised.
Rats thrive on misery. Not so different than 1936 when FDR cruised to easy re-election at the height of the Great Depression because he convinced the sheeple he cared and shared their pain. Pretty stupid if you really think about it. FDR was a multi-millionaire from inherited wealth who did nearly nothing to work or build it (as did his famous uncle); Alf Landon was a self-made oil man from flyover country but managed to win only two of 48 states
