Jim Acosta Had A Barnes & Noble...Guess How Many People Showed Up?

CNN’s Jim Acosta made a “surprise” visit to the Arlington, Virginia Barnes & Noble to sign copies of his new book, “The Enemy of the People” And to no one’s surprise (except maybe Jim Acosta’s ego) nobody showed up.

I think he would have been far better off following in the footsteps of his hero Hillary Clinton and going the Costco route.

Well at least while Jim Acosta was sitting around wearing “I’m so embarrassed” smile,”

But the good news was Jim Acosta had plenty of time to add a new page to his next work of fiction: Dear Diary: I showed up to sign books and nobody was there 🙁 But no worries Jimmy, as they say ‘Every cloud has a silver lining’

Remember all those death threats that you claimed to be getting…

Well, now you have one place to go where no one will find you. It’s like having your very own ‘witness protection‘ like safe house, where no one will ever think to look for you.

He should have given them free copies of Ibsen’s play, Enemy of the People, with every copy of his book. Or better yet, had a signing of the Ibsen play and given out free copies of his book with each copy.

When a liberal writes a book, every library (public and school) in the country automatically orders multiple copies. They sit on the shelf, untouched for a couple of years, and then are resold for a quarter at the book dumping sale.

It was a surprise visit .. customers were supposed to be THRILLED that THE Jim Acosta was there and they could get their books autographed. Just didn’t turn out that way.

Hugh had an interview with him about this book this morning, and mostly let him speak... he did try to point out his hypocrisy by asking him pointed questions but Acosta never batted an eye and just could not see how biased and skewed his world view was on certain things.

Or some governor or union president will buy 200,000 copies and distribute them to people for a small fee.

One of the men arrested in the attempted murder of David Ortiz is named Acosta. Someone needs to ask Jim Acosta if he is related to him.

“When a liberal writes a book, every library (public and school) in the country automatically orders multiple copies. They sit on the shelf, untouched for a couple of years, and then are resold for a quarter at the book dumping sale.’

But this is why publishers publish them:they have a guaranteed press run.

Same for kids books that are progressive, pro-gay rights, feminism, etc. Schools and libraries will buy them.

If you want to change that, change your school district officers, and hire different people to run the public libraries (who are clearly wasting your tax money; and bwhat they spend on those books, could either be saved or spent on something else)

So he couldn’t even get his friends and colleagues to show up and fake it? Faking is what they do.

Ted Knight (Theodore Konopka) (1923-1986), the actor who played Tex Baxter, was a patriotic American who fought in Europe in the US Army in WWII. In other words, no resemblance to Jim Acosta.

"Who remembers: 'If they had a war and nobody came?'"

Do you remember this "peacenik" song from the 1960's?

"Suppose They Give A War and No One Comes" - West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band

(By the way, I would have predicted - wrongly - that those 25-30 current dimbo 2020 presidential candidates would have all showed up for his lousy book signing.)
