Did JPMorgan Just Transfer An Entire IB Team To Texas?
Deal Breaker ^

Posted on 06/06/2019 1:51:51 PM PDT by ameribbean expat

New York IB Credit Risk team to Plano, TX including interns who just accepted offers for the New York office."

Another source inside the bank tells us that they have heard this around the office, meaning that a bunch of NYC i-bankers are about to learn how to live large in Dallas,

And it makes sense that Jamie is shifting some mid-level i-bank jobs to The Lone Star State considering that JPM made a tax incentive deal with the local government to build the Plano campus. That agreement involved creating a certain number of jobs created with a median salary range that will undoubtedly be boosted by a flotilla of NYC credit risk employees.

TOPICS: Business/Economy
KEYWORDS:
Escape from NY. Condolences to TX on getting 300 NY investment banking employees.

That's not even a sentence. And what the fresh hell is an IB Team? Do they have shortstops? Outfielders?

Or, Kenny Bania could take the risk management material too.

Dallas (and the surrounding area) is the ‘city of finance’ in Texas. Houston is the oil industry and shipping. While not a hard and fast rule, it does generally indicate the specialty of each city.

Unfortunately, people escaping high tax hells for Texas tend to bring liberal voting patterns with them. And gradually the Lone Star State is morphing into another high tax hell.

That's the "Itty-Bitty" baseball team of adult midgets.

Anytime you can reduce the population of numerate residents, or dilute their impact with in-migration of innumerates, Dems count it a win.

Texas leaders are destroying the state with aggressive efforts to bring in companies from extreme left states like California and New York.

When Texas flips democrat in an election, America is finished.

Abbott and Perry both diligently recruited out there. The companies relocate and bring along leftist voters. An example of the capitalist selling the rope intended to hang him with.
