Kitteh is sad because she got food on her face, and nobody will wash it for her. Would you want your picture made with food on your face?
I hear ya!
How did Martin Luther all by himself pen, transcribe, carry, and hold onto the Bible from the time the various books were written until now?
The same thing is happening to Christianity in general thanks to the Internet. Christian beliefs are being “cleansed” and “purged” of old beliefs that are easily challenged once we are allowed to talk about it, and read the things that were in the heads of the writers of the new testament, as well as the culture surrounding the writing of the OT as well as the second temple period.
It’s why ECT is taking such a beating these days. http://jewishnotgreek.com/
re: “He didnt.”
Still a big gap between where he started to print what was carried forward through history from the original authors ...
The elephant in the room is - where did the original books come from? AND AND AND AND AND AND — Who curated them all those centuries before Martin Luther got to look at them?
Fluffy the Undead Baby Penguin says, "Where da fishies?!"
Penguins are not part of the Flying Castle ecology.
That said, the castle moat seems to have plenty of tilapia, despite the depredations of the resident plesiosaurs. Since they spend a lot of time in what I call the grotto, I don’t care to speculate what else may be a part of their diet.
After all, what happens in the Lower Levels, tends to stay in the Lower Levels.
Fluffy doesn’t give a Phhhhpht! about ecology.
Unless, of course it finds its way into the moat and ends up in the grotto. And then the denizens of the moat may have more than cronchy fishies to play with.

If there is no Walmart, we’ll just build one. :)
Dat Morning Floof has been askeert by dat fuzzy fing!
Good morning. The laundry is done, except for hanging the sleep shirts, but that will take about 10 minutes. Then I can sit for a bit before going into St George.
I’m not sure how hot the day will be, but whatever it is, I’m going to like it, as long as the sun shines!
I hope you get a full day of sun and heat! It was a little chilly here this morning. I put on a sweatshirt to go out for the newspaper. I completed the crossword puzzle expeditiously.
I have a sinus headache this morning. I may chew some garlic, see if that helps.
Priceless!
That's the spirit!
“Free” pets usually end up costing a lot.
Yes. As in, Beaker and Gonzo, though beaker is the most expensive. I'd rather pay for a nose job for her every other month than see them abused as they were.
That’s often how people end up with lots of cats, too ... just trying to be caring, but it gets out of hand.
G'orning, y'all!
I try to restrict my rescues to two parakeets, though if I have more, I try to get them ready to given to someone else who will care for them.
I suspect I’ll keep these two until they go over the Rainbow Bridge because no one will take them due to the expense. Plus, I don’t think I would trust anyone else to see that Beaker is cared for properly.
So I have my little rescues for now. The woman never told me about the beak until she brought them to the house, which I thought was devious. But don’t get me started!
They are beginning to calm down, and that’s good. It tells me a lot about how they were treated in the past.
The birdies are lucky they have you.
