A tweet showing aggressively anti-Trump actor John Cusack sitting down during a military salute at the Cubs’ Wrigley Field raised some eyebrows yesterday:
“Here’s [John Cusack] staying firmly seated during tonight’s military salute at Wrigley Field.”
John clearly did NOT like getting called out. He instantly blocked the original poster.
And then he went absolutely HAYWIRE. The man managed to argue that he was simply not standing YET, that patriotism is for chumps, and that Wrigley Field is promoting the military industrial complex, all in one very twisted twitter rampage

Patriotism for chumps - what does that even look like?
Chumps and deplorables are EVERYWHERE, Mr. John Cusack. They have rights to life and opinions, too, you know. It isn’t all one-sided.
If you are going to tweet out about things, at least be coherent.
Not only did he show himself to be a lousy excuse for an American by sitting while everybody else in Wrigley was standing, this makes him look even worse, like he is a White Sox fan, or even worse, a Cardinals fan.
All of these libtards have become the equivalent of the “hold muh beer ‘n watch this” redneck conservatives they used to find so amusing. But they don’t see it.
They’re like Democrat bluenecks.
One more to add to my long and ever-growing list.
This particular creep, John Cusuck, is no exception.
These thespians engage in political stunts with the sole aim of getting their names into media headlines. A burst of publicity, negative or positive (they don't care which) is what too many of them desperately need for income, life-style or ego enhancement.
Movie work is getting scarcer and scarcer in Hollywood, Broadway and other venues, even TV in some cases (what with all the reality shows, etc)......and there is enormous competition for acting gigs.
We deplorables now almost daily have to read about or watch these despicable show-biz creeps (of all three sexes) doing vile anti-Trump/anti-American public things in the hopes that they'll make the evening news......and that their names, hopefully, will be on everybody's lips.

Wow, I read his tweets, and what a freak! I can’t believe he is even able to dress himself with all that insane rage. The most remarkable part, is that it’s all over a big, fat lie, in support of fascist politics. He should be put in an asylum.

On a more positive note, yesterday at work (a software compony with LOTS of Millenials), they had a ‘Thank a Hero Day’, at which employees were invited to anonymously fill out Thank You cards that would be given out to Veterans on Memorial Day.
When I arrived, every seat was taken, and these youngin’s were filling out four or five cards each. Made me well up with pride and brought a tear to my eye.
