Ok – so before I start, let me make it clear that I understand that mother’s day can be difficult for children without moms.
Here’s the thing – I think every day is difficult for children without moms. Or dads. It’s just reality. One day isn’t going to change their reality.
But is this about children who have tragically lost their mothers? Or is this some PC bullcrap about how binary traditional families are offensive.
Hmm.
According to Daily Mail:
A school has renamed a Mother’s Day stall to avoid upsetting any children without a mother.
Brunswick East Primary School in Melbourne will call the stand an ‘appreciation stall’ instead.
In previous years, the school has hosted a fundraising stall where children could buy Mother’s Day merchandise such as mugs, trinkets, candles and soaps.
But staff have decided to change it because some families were offended – and now children can buy gifts for any special person in their life.
Offended.
By Mothers’ Day.
I mean… really?
Principal Janet Di Pilla explained the change in a newsletter to parents, reported the Herald Sun.
She wrote: ‘I am sorry that in the past we have offended some members of our community and I hope that this acknowledgment goes some way to address any hurt which has occurred in the past.
‘I sincerely hope that this change in name will show that we as a community recognise that our families are not made up of any particular combination of people and that we no longer subscribe to a binary world.’

I am totally offended by other people being offended...
The world has gone totally mad.
So we hurt children with Moms for the possible. but not probable, possibility of offending a motherless child. Any administrator engaged in such edicts engages in extremely shallow thinking and has no business working with our children.
They should do away with seniority pay for teachers, to avoid offending any teachers with the unfairness of it all.
1. Let’s celebrate diversity.
2. Let’s pretend that mothers are nothing special and that one family is just like any other family.
How much more idiocy can the western world stand?

As a Mother I wasn’t offended until they threw out the Mothers Day booth...
Wait till the greeting card and candy makers and florists figure out that the BANNING of all these ‘holidays’ will knock out some serious revenue sources.
We all ‘know’ that the only reason we can’t have a flat tax is because the accountants/tax preparers/ IRS agents have good representation and spread bookoo bucks around much the same as BigPharm doesn’t really want to ‘cure’ any diseases etc as it will put them out of business.
They are probable drooling over the upsurge in diseases they ‘mistakingly’ wiped out years ago...MAYBE ‘they’ are introducing the new strains and trying to blame it on the illegals or purposefully infecting them on their journeys north?
One of the biggest ‘sins’ the Europeans supposedly did to the Natives was infect them with ‘germs’ that were unknown to them...

My oh My, what a differnce it would have been had the ‘Indians’ greeted the Mayflower with muskets and raised bows with quivers full rather than let curiosity get the best of them.

The fact that Brunswick East Primary calls themselves a school really offends me.
They need to change that right away, or I might get triggered.
This isn’t unique to the UK.
A Unitarian church near us celebrates “all women” on Mother’s Day, because all women are magical and it is wrong to discriminate against those who don’t have children but still contribute somehow to all kids.
They renamed serial sodomy and called it ‘gay marriage’...what’s the big deal?
I wonder if the Islamonazi head-choppers that treat their women like livestock got the memo on that.
Life is unfair; we can't bring society down to the level of its most saddened members.
Instead, we must teach children that life goes on, to grieve and then make the most of the rest of your life.
