In recent days, President Donald Trump has turned his Twitter account into a stream of 280-character invective against Democratic front-runner Joe Biden, giving the former vice president a somnolent nickname and calling him "not very bright."
Despite the ability to broadcast his electoral weapon directly at his 60 million followers, could the president’s participation on his favorite social media network actually hamper his chances at winning a second term?
Nearly half of voters, 46 percent, in a POLITICO/Morning Consult poll say that, yes, Trump’s Twitter use hurts his reelection campaign - more than twice the number who say his direct-to-voters Twitter account is an asset.
Seven in 10 voters say Trump uses Twitter too much, while 14 percent say he uses it the right amount. Believe it or not, 1 percent of voters say Trump doesn’t tweet enough.

Clearly, his Twitter is a highly effective weapon that they STILL have no idea how to defend against.
I’ve started to read his Twitter feed like I used to read Drudge Report - for the heads up on stories the enemedia doesn’t want to report, or report right.
No offense, but only a nation of misfits and losers would think any of that is serious enough to warrant presidential involvement. You might as well call the White House if your street needs to be paved.
Trump has lost my wife’s vote because of his twitter use. So there is that. I do believe he gains more than he loses though.
These are the two largest issues for people over 70. And its a very large issue for those people who have parents in that category. These are huge issues. And they are crimes. And since the communications companies and cable companies are making their money on government leasing and government made monopolies, they should live at a higher standard than Google or Facebook.

The demos are confusing... the poll is a typical Democrat overweight of 5%.
It also suggests that the independents are tilting conservative if one believes that Liberal=Democrat and Conservative=Republican.
