You don't know they're gone until you browse your comments and find they don't exist anymore.
Way to go censors. 20+ year guy here and i will say this is a new level of low.
Read it while you can, i am sure whoever's deleting comments tonight will not want to have this out there.

You can’t give an example if it doesn’t exist anymore. The only way to prove such an allegation is to copy each and every post/thread as they are created and then compare to what’s left at the end of the day.
Now who has that type of resources?
I’ve noticed threads and comments disappear myself. My assumed reason is the thread was quite controversial and someone made or many made remarks that could get the establishment in trouble.
To me it’s not worth bickering over.
If a thread is pulled and no reason is given then nothing is learned.

Well I read your thread. And all the replies.
And I’m so glad the moderators took the time to reply and explain why they do what they do.
Your complaint is routinely posted here at FR by others, and I’m encouraged to note that each and every time someone questions the strange, bizarre, arbitrary and contradictory methods of moderating and deleting threads - the admin moderators AWAYS are eager to post their reasoning.
Gosh, they are so helpful. I think I’ll donate an extra 50 bucks to the FReepathon based on how responsive they are.
(I could go on - but my sarcasm allotment has been exceeded.)

Could it have been one of those q trollbait magnets? I did pull a couple of those recently. Trolls exist on both sides of that argument and I’d rather not have their trollwars on our forum. Thanks.
We certainly had a lot more erudite philosophical discussions on political systems, American history, world history, the Nation's enemies, and military matters...
However, it was also the "flame wars" era... Those were very exciting times and the weaklings were quickly disappeared...

No, I restored (and then locked) Secret Agent Man’s Jr high school level thread that I pulled last night so you and he and others can review it to see an example of threads that are not wanted on FR so you don’t post more like it in the future. I really did not think a reason for the pull was necessary. Should be self-evident.
