Ann Coulter is a tall, leggy blonde whom almost any human male would find at least moderately attractive, a right-wing political columnist with an admirably vitriolic pen who might be described as a Sometimes-Trumper.
On the other hand, her strident and embarrassing lack of trust, loyalty, and consistency is the basic reason Im finally writing this article. Coulter was one of Donald Trumps earliest supporters, back when everybody thought that was crazy, and is supposed to be intelligent, but clearly she has no idea whatever of the forces of Mordor that Trump presently finds arrayed against him and his policies. If Republicans are elephants, Democrats are jackasses, and Libertarians are porcupines, Ann Coulter is a giraffe. Currently pushing 60 (as are we all, some from one side of the line, some from the other), Coulter remains unmarried and without children. She is said to have dated comedian Jimmie Walker (Were just good friends), writer/movie-maker Dinesh DSouza, New York City Councilman and progressive Democrat Andrew Stein, Spin magazine founder Bob Guccione, Jr., conservative/religious radio host David Wheaton, and the ridiculous and disgusting Bill Maher, owner of the questionably named KidLove Productions (slice of pizza, Bill?) and defender of the notorious Mary Kay Letourneau (look her up).
Over the years, Coulter has written many a column that had my fingers hovering over the keyboard, ready to strike, but she finally pushed it too far with a little ditty, on April 17, entitled All The Presidents Bloodsucking Relatives an instrument of jealousy, hatred, and personal destruction, aimed principally at Trumps daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner. Ann let it all hang out in that column, and in doing so, exposed herself as the bitter, unfulfilled harridan she criticizes others for being. I would guess (and it is only a guessunlike liberals, I lay no claim to telepathy, only to a unique understanding, after seven decades, of history and human nature) that Coulter desperately wanted an appointment of some kind to the Trump Administration and feels that she deserved it. Ivanka got the job Ann probably wanted, instead. The First Daughter, by contrast, is an entrancing elfin princess, a wife and mother, who has made herself more than useful to her father and to America on more than one occasion. So much for bloodsucking. If I were a Democrat, Id be shaking in my boots right now about 2024.
Trump, in fact, is surrounded by feminine pulchritude. His wife, Melania, is the most beautiful and charming First Lady America has ever had. His younger daughter, Tiffany, a Georgetown law student, would be a national high school/college heart-throb if she were more publicly visible. His daughter-in-law, Lara, is winsome, highly principled, and intellectually aggressive. His eldest sons fabulously decorative girlfriend, former FOX news star Kimberly Guilfoyle (whom we dont see enough of any more), would make another wonderful First Lady (the nightmares never end for the DNC). Even Trumps Counselor, Kellyanne Conway, is kind of irresistibly cute, despite her thoroughly cancerous husband, another victim of self-inflicted jealousy.
I have to admit that its surprisingly difficult being hard on Coulter, for me, at least. We both do the same thing (more or less) for a living (if you call this living). Theres at least a 75 percent overlap in what we believe (Im a non-religious libertarian who staunchly supports same-sex marriage and a womans right to an abortionup to a point). Most of all, we each enjoy plunging a well-turned verbal dagger into the heart of whomever or whatever has earned our ire.
Poor Ann has been outclassed by the Barbies of FOX Newsfor whom admittedly she blazed the trailalmost uniformly blonde, gorgeous, intelligent, and accomplished. Many of them are lawyers, like her. Think lovely Shannon Bream, my favorite.
Given her problems with the Trumps, Coulter apparently does her thinking below the waistline, sunshine. What a pity. In another universe, she could have been like Judge Jeanine. But shes over the hill, and does not bear it gracefully.
She’s a fraud. She found a niche market and exploited it.
That mustve been in the 90s
Love the descriptions in this article!
Not saying you did, but many people assumed Ann Coulter actually believed all the stuff she said and wrote about. I have always viewed “media figgers” as being akin to prostitutes - or actors. If someone dropped 4 and 5-figure checks into your bank account for speaking and writing a certain way, it would be hard for most people not to follow the pattern. Ann has always been a contrarian, we loved her when she was unfashionably anti-Clinton and anti-liberal, but now that Trump has pre-empted that space, she’s become predictably anti-Trump.
I don’t know what she truly believes, if anything. But I’m convinced that reading what she says or writes will offer no clue about what it is. That’s just how the human Ann Coulter supports the brand and business of Ann Coulter Inc.
An touched bill mahers schlong
While it's true that Coulter craves attention and often says nutty things, her comments about Jared and Ivanka, while sometimes overly personal and done in bad taste, are largely correct. Javanka has (have?) been nothing but a poisonous liberal influence in the White House, and by many accounts are the main reason that nationalists like Bannon and Gorka have been pushed out of Trump's inner circle and replaced by establishment figures.
I think Ann’s problem is in trying to keep her audience. I use Youtube a lot to listen to political videos (I have a three hour round trip commute and listen then). Because of how youtube works, I get all sorts of relevant videos on my feeds. Oddly, Coulter never shows up. I have to seek her out.
Because of all the good sources now from all sorts of people, Blue Collar Logic being but one, Ann is becoming somewhat irrelevant. I get the feeling her goal is to be somehow “different” to keep an audience. I don’t think it’s working.
And yes, I used to really like her and still love the video of her predicting, during the primary, that Trump would become president. I think the author may be on to something here, regarding her wanting a White House job.
It’s really fashionable on FR to dump on some people:
Elon is pretty high up there but I’d say Ann is at the very top of the list.
Ann (new-book-next-week) Coulter has lost touch with her constituency.
Weak piece, makes this old man sound like a codger. I like Ann for Ann, regardless of what this guy or anyone on FR says. She can take blows from hostile audiences, as the only one on a stage who holds a sane position. She speaks the truth about much and that is never popular.
People are right to hold Trump's feet to the fire on these things. I just wish they'd do so in less of a shrill, self-serving, and obnoxious way than Coulter does.
Ann Coulter is not tall...
And apparently, reality too.
Nope
Kimberly Guilfoyle for First Lady?
Please, no.
I got flamed royally when I merely suggested that Ms. Coulter should eat a sandwich and take a Midol. She should still eat that freaking sandwich and get some hormone replacement therapy.
Everyone is entitled to a mistake. And Guilfoyle's was marrying Gavin Newsome.

Oh hell no! She’s curveless, horsefaced, and has an Adam’s apple. I wouldn’t touch her with a ten foot pole.
There's no arguing over taste, but I just never could see why so many other men drooled over her. Coulter always looked mannish to me.
I read this piece with a heavy heart knowing it speaks to a truth I want to avoid.
Ann has been a Joan of Arc for many of us. Her deep research and brave exposure of leftist fraud have served us well.
Her early support for the Donald has not weathered well. She has become mercurial, frothing, and hateful, all characteristics she avoided for much of her career.
The notion of her becoming a Judge Jeanine in another world was sad. Like Donald, the Judge is seated on a foundation of love. Ann is not.
