Dear Freepers,
of your charity please pray for my nephew Jak.
He is dangerously ill after complications arising from appendicitus.
Please also pray for his mother and sisters, who (as you can imagine) are terribly worried.

Brief update:
* Jak is being taken to London as he needs specialist care.
* It seems to be impossible to get the right sort of consultant to see him over the Easter break.
It’s not a great situation. I’d better get back to it.

Another update:
A radiologist has been found, so Jak will have his surgery tomorrow (Monday) without having to be moved.
This is good news - thank you all for your kind prayers!
Monday night:
The blockage is apparently too dangerous to operate on, and the Hospital is trying to bring down Jak’s fever with antibiotics.
This is a terrible time - we see the wholesale murders in Sri Lanka, and the still more wholesale destruction of God’s children in abortion clinics across the world.
Against this bloody backdrop we raise up Jak. Oh God, may he be healed, and his family given peace and solace.
+ We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, True God and True Man. +
