Generals are military, and military is patriotism:

Either you exercise your power as Commander in Chief or that power is effectively seized by others. Trump still does not have control of the Federal bureaucracy. The Russian collusion hoax has been successful in that it has kept Trump off balance and has prevented him from implementing his plans. First of all you have to realize that this is a hit piece to create discord between Trump and anyone not Trump. The General "let leak" is rather passive implying without stating that he actively sought to have the memos leaked.

I have little truck for flag officers most of whom are political. But the leftist media is not interested in the well-being of the Marine Corps. They are interested in getting the insane orange one out of office.
