I have a friend who has been abused and is finally about to make a great move to security and professional advancement. Initials are JC (do not want to share her name for security reasons). Please pray for her.

I didn’t think you could even smile at a woman these days much less lay hands.
I will pray for her.
My friend did go back for a while, but she did finally quit subjecting herself to abuse. The abuser will not stop trying to hurt her and her daughter. Sometimes wish my parents did not raise me to be moral and Christian because then I’d feel free to wreck the jerk. Would feel good. But my parents did, hence the prayer request. Figure God can handle it better than I could.
Done.
And that she, along with the one who is doing the abusing, will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, if that has not happened already.
The Holy Ghost is the only antidote for that abuser (or abusers).
I pray the Lord gives her strength and courage.
ok - praying for JC that God will protect her from more abuse and will give her insight and discernment and strength for what lies ahead.
I wish the law officers would put the abuser in jail but that might be dangerous to try to arrange.

You are correct. I work for a Company that just forced me to sit through a four hour “training” taught by an EEO industry consultant. He spent most of those four hours threatening us with termination if we do any of the “wrong” things. One case he referred to was a new Female employee, whose male coworkers decided to meet after work for a few beers. They considered inviting her, but feared she might be offended by the offer, so in the interest of behaving “properly” did not. She found out the next day that she was EXCLUDED from the event, and filed charges. Still don’t fully understand the “message” this EEO consultant was conveying to us, but it was all thoroughly immersed in repeated warnings to us that if anyone feels offended by our actions, we better be ready to look for another job. And this occurred in a very liberal East Coast City.
Don’t know what to tell you. Did my time in the work force when America was still America. These are all deliberately created problems and I never saw them. Hard for me to believe that there aren’t still a lot of semi-ok women out there. But it is like a mine field...got to be careful.

Exactly. You wouldn’t recognize it today. Today more resembles a former Soviet Block country than America.
