The purpose of the Green New Deal was to shift the conversation to what would work and what wouldn’t and away from should we or shouldn’t we.

Conservatives are too dumb to realize they are being walked down the path to comprimise

How do they plan on getting the rest of the world to comply.

Or are they just going to continue to go after the cleanest, least polluting country in the world?

If it doesn't replace coal with nuclear power to spare, it will never work.
You could always go with fusion power, of course - that fits the framework exactly.

Fusion power is ten years away - and has been since the 1960s. Which pretty much describes the Armageddon stories we hear about Global Warming Climate Change.

Armageddon is always just ten years away.
