At this moment the race for the Democratic nomination in 2020 appears to be completely wide open, but there is one potential candidate lurking in the shadows that could change everything. For a moment, I would like you to imagine what a perfect presidential candidate for the Democrats in 2020 would look like. In this politically correct era, it would help if the candidate was a woman, and it would definitely be a plus if she could appeal to key groups of minority voters. Being a hero to the LGBT community would be important for any Democratic candidate, and it would also have to be someone that could bring together the Sanders wing and the Clinton wing of the party. But none of those things would really matter without national name recognition, and so a dream candidate for the Democrats would be someone that everybody already knows and that much of the nation already loves.

Even Mrs. Clinton thought she needed Senator on her resume.

At one time, I would have completely agreed with that idea about having some sort of previous office. But in November of ‘16 - that all changed.
Just about every premise of this article is idiotic, starting with the assumption that running a woman for president is necessarily a plus.
Nope. I think Michelle has more personal baggage than Hillary does with even worse temperament problems.
The rats must murder each other, down to the last.
I honestly do think the first female president is going to be a Republican.
Dems will not nominate a member of the House for the top spot. Had he beaten Cruz he’d be the choice. Hickenlooper, Harris or Bernie are most likely.
I think this criteria for a Democratic candidate is going to be guaranteed to give them someone unelectable, so by all means, carry on.
Hillary would Arkancide Michelle in a New York minute. No way would she allow Obama’s wife take what she thinks is rightfully hers. If she couldn’t be the 1st woman president, she’ll make sure she stops anyone else from breaking the “glass ceiling”.
Beto?
Yeah, Donald Trump. The race will be his to lose and he could screw it up and lose it.
“I think the team will be Beto and Harris...both minorities.”
Ehhh, are you sure Beto is a minority? O’Rourke? Come on, man...
This makes me throw up a small tiny bit.
Thanks, but I no longer waist time reading long screeds about Clintons or Obamaholes. I will say, yes, the dem candidate should go hard, hard, hard left and make glqbcxyz the center of their platform.
I agree, she would be his toughest opponent since the Dems fawn over her.
But I don’t think she could handle a debate. She’s not used to anybody questioning her about her beliefs.
Remember Barack’s first debate with Romney. Barack was off his game because he couldn’t believe somebody would question him and they would have a different opinion than he did.
Michelle couldn’t stand the heat of a debate.
Obama - Johnson 2020
C’mon, IDK the source, but really?
And this is one of the key factors that would separate Michelle Obama from the rest of the pack. The Obamas understand how to campaign properly, and Michelle Obamas national tour to promote her memoir entitled Becoming sure looks and feels like a presidential campaign tour. The following comes from Clifford Nichols
Managed by the same company that promotes Beyoncés concert tours, the ten stops of the first leg of her national tour in November and December of 2018 were at arenas with seating capacities hovering around 20,000, not only in Washington, D.C., but also in states like New York, Massachusetts, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Tennessee, Illinois, California, and Georgia.

... and she is married to the most admired man in America. She released her latest book in November, and it is still in the number one position on Amazon. Her national book tour has been packing out stadiums all over the country, and she has a net worth of more than 40 million dollars.
Never before have I read such a shameless piece of ass-kissing propaganda and I have read many. Too many.
First, MO isn’t going to run for the Presidency. (I hope by that time she will be in Guantanamo)
Second, Anyone who believes she/he? will one day lead the Executive Branch is delusional, or worse.
Because living in the White House is more experience than her husband brought to the table.
The hardest candidate might be himself...
Hmmm.
