Good for you. I recommend a .308 rifle next.

Same thing in Washington state. I just ignore the signs. Courthouses and bars and schools are gun-free by state law. Those I abide by, after some consideration. My kids are all out of school now, but I always debated whether to carry onto the school. (I didn’t)

I figured the odds of an attack the few times I was there didn’t warrant the risk of losing my gun rights forever. (Some fines and jail time too I am sure).

The wife has a Taurus Slim 9mm auto - seems to be a good weapon - never jammed or misfired to date.

"I just bought the GP 100 after looking quite some time for a used S&W 686 pre-lock."

About the only difference I've noticed between the GP-100 and the 686 (besides the major extra cost of the S&W) is that the 686 has a lighter trigger out of the box. A $40 trigger job takes care of that easily. But I just like the way the 4" GP-100 feels in my hand and , like I said, its my favorite revolver.

Thanks, that is interesting.

Around 1986 I bought a Walther PP in .32. It was barely used in it’s original box with a spare mag. It had the name of some German police outfit on the slide. I wish I still had it as it was beautifully made.

Make a little sign to put under their “No Firearms” sign: “That we know of.”
