Protection Against Meth Addicts - Safety
12/23/18 | self

I posted this vanity to help others, my hope is that this info is shared with family and friends regardless of their ability/inability to protect themselves. Most crimes are committed against someone they know. Most people avoid dangerous situations and people to keep from being victimized. Meth addicts have no boundaries or reason. My point is that anyone anywhere can be a victim of a meth addict regardless of safeguarding measures. To illustrate, a few stories, one of which is mine.

I have lived in the same house for 20 years without issue, a great neighborhood. We have weapons and keep the doors locked. One evening, the curtains were open and the lights on. My neighbors were not home. A sweating panicked man banged on the door shouting, “Let me in, let me in, I’m being chased!” I turned on the porch light and looked through the window. After seeing the sweat on his face and his frantic demeanor, I shouted through the door, “I’m calling the police.” Which I did. He banged on the door and turned the doorknob for several minutes. He then got into my husband’s truck trying to hot wire it (unsuccessfully). Despite knowing the police were coming, the truck alarm blaring, motion lights illuminating everything, he hung around until the police arrived 15 min. later. According to the officer, he was delusional. This man was from another town, had left his car one mile away, and was looking for a house with people home. Not your ordinary interaction. Had the door been unlocked, he would have walked right in.

If you watch any live PD, it is now common for meth addicts to choose any home regardless of neighborhood or stature and walk right in believing they live there. Travelers have returned home to find strangers sitting on the couch.

Third and last, a meth addict in CA. walked into an 80 yr. old man’s home early morning. The homeowner was upstairs sitting on the bed getting ready for the day. The meth addict walked in, grabbed a knife from the kitchen and went upstairs. He decapitated and gutted the homeowner. He ran a belt through the mouth and neck of the homeowners head so that it could be carried like a purse. He sat the head on the kitchen counter and ate a sandwich. He then went into the backyard, tossed the head over the fence, jumped the fence, picked up the head, and walked into the neighbors house. The neighbor was on the phone when the addict entered. The addict grabbed another knife and gutted the neighbor. He left the head with the belt running through it in the middle of the bed and left. He was later caught walking around covered in blood. He did not remember anything.

Conclusion, meth addicts cannot be reasoned with. There is no safe place. Short of shooting them, there is no safeguarding against people that are delusional. Please advise your loved ones to keep doors locked.

If you seriously believe someones on drugs and a threat, you better shoot them to the point they cannot get up or move, dead or not. Druggies ned more shots to take them down, unles you get a brain shot.

Funny how the mainstream media doesn’t cover any of this. Hmmm...

Whenever you hear of something weird happening these days, it’s either somebody on meth or somebody on their digital device instead of paying attention to what they are doing.

Due to meth, the thought of buying an idyllic rural acreage to get away from the rat race disappeared a long time ago around here.
One of my friends had a strung-out guy trespassing on her property while her husband was gone, he tried to steal a car and didn’t appear to know where he was. On the bright side, everybody is heavily armed.

440,000 medical error deaths a year, per Consumer Reports. 70,000 opioid deaths a year. Yet all the Lamestream media can bleat about is Donald Trump and gun violence. Once you account for suicides and criminal on criminal violence we're actually a pretty safe country as far as gun deaths go.

Meth is bad news.

I just stick with Bath Salts — that way I don’t do anything really crazy.

I also live in a great gated neighborhood. But I still carry every waking moment and sleep with my Glock 23 right next to me.

My step-mother has a .357 on her at all times while IN the house.

A few years back, some meth heads broke into their neighbors rural home, tied the old woman up in the basement and shot her in the head when one of the morons took off his mask and they realized she could then ID them

Story from California compelled me to do a search. Strange that nothing at all came up for such an outrageous story. Could you link your source?

The only way to end this is to execute drug dealers like they do in Asia.

But Obama put hundreds and hundreds of drug dealers back on the streets, pardoned for committing “victimless” crimes.

They did a profile of one he released here. Multiple convictions for robbery, assault, carrying deadly weapon, etc.

There was a huge meth house problem in my county, several years ago. Busts were a weekly event.

I discussed this issue, at a local gathering with the then County Sheriff.

He told me that making meth was easy.

“The (white) folks that are cooking this stuff flunked high school chemistry”.

The Califirnia story details:

I posted a short version not wanting to bore the reader ;). I saw the story on the ID channel a month ago, can’t remember which show though.

Details: The victim was a former writer for television shows prior to retiring. He lived alone as an everyday citizen, nothing fancy. After the killer left the second house he roamed the streets eventually ending up in front of a movie studio. Patrons were leary of him and the security guards told him to move on. Inside the studio, the security guard monitoring surveillance video watched the killer walking around. At the same time, the police were holding a press conference alerting the public about the killer. The security guard was watching the conference while watching the surveillance cameras and realized the killer was the creepy man out front. He called the police. It happened so quickly that the police were able to announce they had caught the suspect in the middle of the conference on live TV. The killer was from another state and his brother stated that he had severe mental problems. The brother tried to get him help but to no avail. I believe the killer was from Utah and homeless.

There was a news conference about it. The first victim was a writer and the second was a doctor of some sort. I hope that helps.

I kinda like the idea of multiple solid hits with a baseball bat, followed by a knife up from the stomach.

People in other nations don’t get why we need guns.

As long as the DNC exists we will need guns.

More Guns.

Bigger Guns.

Yeah, there was a defenseless old lady beaten to death around here by a teenager stealing her prescription drugs and car. Very sad.

We live in a very rural area. Never had any major issues other than an illegal trying to steal some garden tools out of the shed. It sometimes takes LEOs over 45 minutes to get out here.
Several years ago, we had a druggie banging on our front porch door about 2am in the morning. I jumped out of bed, grabbed my Glock 30, snapped on the outside lights and looked out the side window. I saw this guy with no shirt on, covered in blood and sweat. He was screaming at the top of his lungs to be let in because demons were chasing him. His eyes were bugged out bigger than Adam Shift’s. My wife called the Sheriff Dept. as soon as she heard the screaming. She stayed on the phone with the dispatcher, but still managed to grab a 12 ga shotgun loaded with 00 buck from behind the kitchen door.
I yelled at him thru the door to stop, that we were armed and would shoot him, and that the law was on the way. With that, he then went absolutely and totally berserk. He went on a literal rampage to bust down the door...ramming and kicking it over & over. We pushed some furniture up against the door and waited back behind a couch with both guns aimed at the door waiting for it to bust down. The Sheriff dispatcher was still on the phone with us all the whole while this was going on. The dispatcher told us that several units were on their way. My wife kept telling her to tell them to hurry up because this guy is totally nuts.
It took the first unit just over 23 minutes to get to our house. The rest of em showed up within minutes of the first one. They immediately tased the guy twice, and it still took all of em to get the cuffs on him and into a unit.
FWIW, this guy was from a nearby town, high as a kite on meth and couldn’t remember any of it when he came down. He had no idea what he had done, where he’d been or what happened.
Fortunately, no one was killed out here that night, but it was close....too damn close. IF the law had been another minute later showing up, we would have had to shoot him as he had just kicked in the lower part of the door. Yeah, we were both scared spit-less.
Needless to say, we stay armed all the time out here. We’ve since added an AR-15 pistol in 300BLK to our defense weaponry and upgraded our exterior doors, windows and locks.
Since then, we’ve not had any other major trouble and hope it stays that way, but ya just never know with the way things are these days.

Why reinforce your doors when your windows are made out of glass?

Those are stories nightmares don’t even touch! Yet people continue to put this stuff in their bodies.

Frankly I’d probably shoot and let the chips fall where they may. At least I’d be alive!
