Executive Action: POTUS Donald Trump may be setting himself up for a huge constitutional battle if reports that hes preparing to issue an executive order ending birthright citizenship are accurate.
Axios reported exclusively:
President Trump plans to sign an executive order that would remove the right to citizenship for babies of non-citizens and unauthorized immigrants born on U.S. soil, he said yesterday in an exclusive interview for Axios on HBO, a new four-part documentary news series debuting on HBO this Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.
The order would be one of the most dramatic moves yet by the president as his immigration reform agenda continues to be thwarted by Democrats in Congress and far too many RINOs, though that could all change in less than two weeks of a legitimate red wave sweeps the midterm elections.

Roy Scheider?
With very good reason!
One more SCOTUS pick will make a LOT of common sense/Constitutional things more possible. MIght be able to do it with the two he already has but we can pray for at least one and maybe even 2 more before his 8 years are up...can even fantasize about 3 more.....
Not sure how this will pass judicial muster without a change to the 14th Amendment.
“I think he is mind-screwing the left again.”
It’s so very easy to do!
>>The 14th should not apply to people in the U.S. illegally.<<
That might be the point — clarify it. Given the SCOTUS makeup it might fly.
If it flies, President Trump will go down as the greatest President since Lincoln (maybe since Washington).
The Constitution can’t be changed with an EO.
Ginsberg will be rolled in on a hospital bed on life support as long as President Trump is in office. Granted, the Supremes are unpredictable, but this might be the best shot. I'm not convinced that the DC Sewer won't corrupt the two new judges, like it does everyone else. Anything President Trump waits on just gives his enemies time to gin up their storm troopers, especially ANTIFA for this one.
Waiting and announcing ahead of time hardly ever works out well. Can we really be sure it would in this case?
And the 2nd explicitly states "The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed", but plenty seem to think that's open to interpretation.
I'll just be happy to see the term "Anchor Babies" being discussed in the news. The left has hidden that element of the illegal invasion for far too long.
I got NONE of that. I have Firefox and use "uBlock Origin". Also "Cookie AutoDelete".
The plain meaning of the 14th Amendment means that one must BOTH be born in United States AND be subject to the jurisdiction thereof.
This excludes illegal immigrants who are in defiance of U.S. jurisdiction and are citizens of a foreign power.
Steve King’s website.
Birthright citizenship was decided by a court. The 14th was written to apply to former slaves and their progeny to overcome the hold democrats still had in the process. An XO can clarify the rules to be applied and besides, no slaves in the U.S. anymore except we, the citizen taxpayers.
He needs to go for it. Hit them with multiple XOs taking on the issue from different angles. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Regardless of whether he can do it (and with this court I think he can) I wish that people would call the thing he is ending “birthright citizenship without residency” because just saying “birthright citizenry” sounds alarming and is inaccurate. This is about the lack of residency. It would be sort of like a pregnant person breaking into your house, giving birth, and then claiming that she and the kid now live there and should be on the deed.
All it takes is one group to demand a ruling be put aside because Ginsburg was asleep during the hearing.
9-0 the Constitution requires birthright citizenship and an Amendment would be required to end it.
Are you SURE this is a case you want them to hear?
Not sure he has the authority, but this should have been law long ago
I believe illegals are subject to US jurisdiction. It will be hard to close this loophole. It was too broad.
The Civil War amendments were created to Centralize power in DC so that slavery and discrimination could be outlawed. It’s time to repeal them because they are now used by the left in ways far beyond the intent. They have effectively erased the 9th and 10th admendments with this centalization of power.
