With all that is going on today in our social and political culture, especially the audacious unmasking of what liberals and the Democrat Party are now demanding, it would not be difficult to imagine an America ruled by the Left, the modern liberal, the modern Democrat Party. I say modern liberal because it is a far cry from the classic liberal of the forgotten past.
The classic liberal would advocate Constitutional Republicanism, a limited government with basic inalienable rights entrusted upon its people, shared equally by all its citizens, of all races, bestowed by God. It was envisioned by our founders that all were created equal in the law and then allowed to be let loose to become all you can be with limited government and few limits. It was what many of us fought to reestablish in the 60s and 70s.

And just how did you do that? And what were the results?
The people you are complaining about are not “liberals”, however you define it.
They are revolutionaries, followers of Robespierre and Lenin. It’s no longer secret.
If the left had their way, we would be run by a bunch of faceless Authoritarian bureaucrats with prison for everyone who didn’t tow the mark.
Stalinist Hillary’s “fun camps” would have been nothing less than gulags. They would have cured the crimes of whiteness, bigotry, unearned privilege, white supremacy, misogyny, and other isms, etc. etc. She would have murdered millions of deplorable-Americans Pol Pot style.

When they tell us we better get in line (and it’s heading towards “or else” the way the Left is going), do they hear what THEY are saying?

People drawn to oppose the war subsequently joined opposition to the government which was Nixon by the time the movement gained strength, so the majority simply became democrats in order to counter the republican administration.
Ironically, they ended up fighting against the freedoms they believed in.

These victims groups are just a means to an end.
They use division and tearing down of traditional institutions to get control. All of this divisive mess would disappear once the left consolidates its power. No way will chaos reign in the leftist authoritarian world. You will eat your peas or else, and you will not complain. The party knows what’s best for you and you will be silent.
