Tuesday on ABC’s “The View,” co-host Meghan McCain said the swearing-in ceremony last night forSupreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh was “tone-deaf.”

Sunny Hostin said, “He turned a supreme court confirmation into a political rally.”
She added, “To see him talk politically at a swearing-in ceremony is so beyond the pale, it was so inappropriate. It hurt me to watch.”
Meghan McCain said, “The optics are important. I agree that the ceremony aspect I would have pulled immediately. I actually — had I been emotionally capable of being on the show at the time this happened the second Kavanaugh had that accusation I would have pulled him and put up Amy Coney Barrett. I didn’t understand why we let the circus continue. But believe whatever polls we want, but it has galvanized a lot of people. I do think for conservative women we are being asked questions that are very hard to answer in a lot of different ways, but I would have left out — I agree that optically it was tone-deaf.”

This is a validation to me that it must have been a good ceremony. Great, even!
Monday’s White House ceremony for Kavanaugh was OFF-THE-CHARTS AWESOME. Missy McCain is clearly too embittered to recognize that basic truth.
IMHO, Meghan McCain potential has been RUINED by her crippling regard for her father. Things would have turned out better for Ms McCain had her father raised her as Sarah Sanders’ father raised her. Now, Sarah is in a league far above the one Meghan is in. Sadly, Meghan McCain has likely “topped out” where she is. She’ll NEVER be as good as Sarah Sanders.
The good guys stood up to evil. No doubt Megan cheers in those movies where the characters compromise with the Nazi’s or reach out to them.
Was this nazi cow still at the buffet when Bill Maher implied that her dead father and Lindsey Graham were gay lovers? Not a peep from her about that. Typical.

I thought it was a stroke of genius having retired Justice Kennedy perform the ceremonial swearing in of Justice Kavanaugh.
If Justice Kennedy thought that there were even a hint of Dr. Ford’s wild accusations being true, he would not have participated in the ceremony. By doing so, he signaled his approval of Justice Kavanaugh’s integrity.
As always, Meghan McCain demonstrates how she personifies the dingbatty, privileged, gullible housewife the Democratic Party targets with these sorts of smears and attacks.
So don’t watch. Go away. We’ll all be happier.

If she thinks she scored brownie points while speaking at her daddy’s funeral, she is sooooo wrong.
Nobody cares what the McCain’s have to say. They have been pretty much out of sight, out of mind since the week-long death memorials.

Which is sad because that doesn’t have to happen. Look at Scalia - never wavered on his principles and had plenty of respect from people who HE respected. That should be enough.
