To begin with, I will assume you all know by now about what’s going on with Judge Kavanaugh nomination for the SCOTUS, right? If not, here’s an excerpt from an article written by Pat Buchanan:

One false accusation about alleged behavior that almost happened 35 years ago doesn’t make us a banana republic.
Having people in the FBI, CIA, State Dept and others that are loyal to partisan politics instead of the country, and trying to influence elections and frame candidates, could make us a banana republic.
To all Trump supporters, if this “RAT” plant isn’t enough to get you up off your backside and to the polls on election day to support Republicans to keep power out of the hands of the “RATS” and maybe give the republican’s some backbone in our President’s effort to MAGA.
Having someone unqualified to be potus and both political parties agreeing to ignore the fact makes us a banana republic.
If the Republicans allow the Democrats to sabotage Kavanaugh’s nomination as well as attempt to destroy his reputation, both personally & professionally, then ‘yes’, we are a Banana Republic. We’re teetering at the edge of that precipice.

For about forty years now and with each new “dirty, no good, low down trick by the communists I think, “Surely this will be the “straw-which-broke-the-camel’s back” and CWII will start so that we can finally get this thing settled.”
However and unfortunately, it is now too late. The communists are going to win eventually. Luckily, I will not be around to see it. Apparently, the repubs AND Conservatives are too cowardly or too comfortable in their lives to do anything about it.
If he were a radical leftist judge this would be considered a badge of honor, as it would indicate his support for casual sex without consequences, which is their main platform.
Does the Democrat news media want us to be a Banana Republic?

As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.
Noting that the misguided Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade is an ongoing constitutional scandal imo, please consider this.
The Democrats are not concerned about Kavanaugh’s personal life imo. They’re concerned about preserving the fictitious “constitutional right” to have an abortion.
More specifically, preserving the Democratic sacred cow, the vote-winning, non-enumerated “constitutional” right to have an abortion, means that constitutionally low-information women must exercise their 17th Amendment right to elect Democratic senators, election after election, Democrats who fight tooth-and-nail to confirm pro-abortion activist justices to the Supreme Court.
On the other hand, Hillary has shown that regardless how much of someone else’s money you spend to rig an election, the inevitable consequence of winning elections on abortion for the last several decades is that unthinking Democrats are ultimately wiping out their voter pool.
Patriots need to help Pres. Trump drain the swamp by electing as many new state sovereignty-respecting, Trump-supporting patriot lawmakers to Congress as they can in the 2018 midterm elections.
If this fraud continues to refuse to provide testimony under oath by Monday, let’s hold the vote and get Kavanaugh confirmed.
That’s giving “banana republics” too much credit.
I don’t want to trigger Godwin’s law, or I could name 5 or 6 cases over the last century where orders of magnitude greater harm was done by groups far more organized and competent than any “banana republic”. Lefties aspire to imitate these more competent groups and think they are so capable and learned that they can do it without all the death and misery. The Democratic party advanced past “banana republic” long ago with their control of the media and education and using “messaging” rather than bullets to deliver messages (messages backed by the power of the bullet where banana republics start with the bullet and don’t need a message).
If anything, it’s republicans who try to emulate banana republics while democrats try to emulate Stalin or Mao. And both parties have some success in their efforts.
The fact that some Repubs are going along with this got BS is outrageous. A sketchy politically driven smear with no evidence 35 years after the fact should NOT be given ANY credibility in a hearing or anywhere else. Even if it did happen it should not disqualify kavenaugh’s nomination.
I have voted every election since 1974, never voted for a democrat.
Commies/leftists dont care what the fallout is - even for themselves as long as they destroy the Institutions which give stability to the system they wish to destroy.
Hillary/Feinstein/Pelosi/Boxer/Waters are old dying pawns who will be gone and dont care what happens after that, but very much want the political coin their lying actions attain them today.

I might predict terrible fates for those of these betrayers, but the damage will still be done.
If you assaulted boys when you were in school, then resign as an example of what you say Judge Kavanaugh should do.
