These tweets caught my attention last night, as Whelan is prominent in conservative legal circles and might know of matters afoot behind the scenes that the rest of us plebes aren’t aware of yet. He seems very confident that the Ford matter is about to blow up in Democrats’ faces somehow.

I don’t think the democrats ever cared about Kavanaugh being innocent or guilty.
This was all about getting Kavanaugh to quit on his own, after deciding that he didn’t want to put his young daughters and wife through the ugliness that he’s being accused of doing. He’s tainted, and democrats will never apologize for what they’ve done, but, it’s war to them, and anything goes in times of war. It’s about “the ends justifies the means”.
How do you prove a negative, especially when there are no specifics? If she set a date and place you could maybe prove he was somewhere else, so of course she didn’t.
