The reason that the media and Mueller will persist with their anti-Trump efforts is that the mid-term elections are on the horizon
In the age of President Donald Trump, American journalism has died and it has been replaced by Democratic Party advocacy. No longer are there standards for “objective” reporting in news departments at broadcast networks, cable networks like CNN or MSNBC or mainstream news organizations. Liberal commentators are masquerading as “journalists” and it is being displayed on a regular basis. In the aftermath of the President’s news conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin, anchors on CNN and MSNBC announced their outright disgust with Trump’s performance, discarding even the pretense of objectivity.
That’s why the MSM has approval ratings at about the same level as child molesters. The level of trust in them is even below Congress which has been a perennial punching bag for well over a century.

To my observation, it's been a long, long time since they had "objective" standards, if ever.
Wow, this has been going on since Nixon. It's just that the volume has been turned up slightly. It went from loud to shouting.
"Journalism", for decades, has been the Marxist Propaganda Media - from the NYT's pro-Stalin support to CBS's "Uncle Walter" who flat out knowingly lied when reporting on the TET Offensive.
Trump simply has exposed it for all to see.
After months and months of churning, waffling, and blowing in the wind, most adults know all this anti Trump sputtering is bullshit.
If you think their bad now, you just wait till Trump is elected for an another four years..! It's going to be fun to watch... :)
The holy grail for them is to bring down a Republican president. They did it once before. For them, it’s the crowning achievement and the ultimate goal.
