Does ANYONE know of a wake up service along the Lin es of 976-WAKE?
I have a hugely important meeting in the morning but my clock is broken.

believe me man, I set 2 clocks on times and Im still late. This month alone I wake up late and just put on any clothes and just drove off. Just made coffee and the key is the power bars. they tide you over until lunch..
get those cheap alarm clocks with a single aa battery, they work..it’s just my attitude at looking at the clock and saying ‘um 5 more minutes” which turns into 1 to 2 hours...

They had one of these alarm clocks in Groundhog Day
Knock your head with your fist as many times as the hour you want to awake - five times for 5AM, 6 for 6AM, etc.
People laugh, but it works for some ;-)

I can relate. Now that it is full blown summer, I stay very hydrated. The dogs and me get up at the crack of dawn & go out for a piss and a look around (aka - a dingo’s breakfast).
It does take a little practice. I recommend joining the military for a few years, as well.

The birds start chirping at first light here (North Idaho panhandle). That’s 3:45 am. They make a HUGE racket. Sleep with the window open and you can’t make it past 4 am.

I finally got a flashlight out and there are indented indications of PM [versus] AM. And on the other side, again, can’t be seen without a flashlight, that if illuminated it means the alarm is on or off.

Drive to nearest truck stop.
Buy 2 two Screaming Meamie alarms. Need 12v batts.
Set both 10 minutes apart.
Sleep peacefully.
Guarenteed to wake up because you have redundancy duplicate. If an alarm fails, the other rings.
VERY LOUD!
Guarenteed to catch airplane flights at all hours.
This does really rank up there as a ‘vanity of vanities’. Got to wonder how the poster gets through each day.

Buy backups of 3 Screaming Meamie alarms.
They are LOUD. Always work.
Use 2, keep third as backup. Backup 12v batts.
