Parents, pastors, politicians and educators will join a Muslim imam at a mosque Friday in Oakland County, Michigan, to pray and discuss how to make their schools and community safer in an era of mass school shootings.
The Muslim Unity Center, a mosque in the wealthy Detroit suburb of Bloomfield Hills, is hosting an "Interfaith Prayers and Symbolic Walkout Vigil" April 20 that feeds off of the anti-gun fervor created in the wake of the Parkland High School mass shooting that killed 17 students in February.

Nothing more the religion of peace wants than to disarm Christian Americans.
In case anyone hasn’t noticed....2017 numbers say that the homicide rate for the year...267...were the lowest since 1966.
Various people will offer differing opinions on why. Last spring (2017) I noticed a story from the suburbs of Detroit...couple of punks were attempting to break in the back door of a house. Housewife there in the house reached....pulled out AR15, and the punks scattered. There are various stories where locals have demonstrated themselves to be armed (rifles, shotguns, pistols). I think that has scared some folks....and put others six feet under.
And the great falling away continues.
How about prayers against bomb violence, machete violence, flying planes into buildings violence??
Want to “discuss” how to prevent violence? March the Imam and his little soldiers back to where they came from. Islam is NOT a religion! No more mosques.
A lot of Christians aren’t fond of me here. I’m not welcome at local churches either. I called them out on their money grubbing when locals were in need, and allowing the sick socialist agenda to pervade our schools. They’d rather just sit there and talk about feeling good. They also think my attitude towards firearms are bad.

BTW, the 12th Century Pact of Umar clearly states that “infidels” are not allowed to own weapons of any kind. It remains in effect among muzzies to this day.
Of course muzzies are for gun control & disarming of citizens.

Sounds like both you and those you speak of need to discover what being a Christian actually is.
I know what one is, and I’m outspoken about it. I’m a Christian. You have a good point about modern churches though.
Also, prayers against...acid attacks and driving on crowded sidewalks.
If they keeping walking out of the Mosque that might be a good thing.

I would go just to confront this so-called Imam in front of the entire gathering and ask him just one question:
You claim to be against violence, if that is indeed the case do you condemn ALL OF THE PASSAGES in the Koran which directly call for instilling terror, slitting the throats and the killing of all Jews and non-Muslim "infidels", "EVERYWHERE YOU FIND THEM"? Yes or no?
I dare say, his refusal to answer this simple question, or his non answer would end this "peace" confab immediately and show Islam for what it truly is.

Oakland & Wayne Counties (along with Ann Arbor & Lansing) totally dominate our entire State’s politics. There’s practically more people in the Detroit metroplex area, than in the rest of the State.
(and they Vote early & often, just like Chicago)
Well, I’ve found that when *everyone else* is wrong the problem is often not with *everyone else*.
Well, not totally everyone. I found a good group of patriot Christian men. Real men. Real Christians.
Jesus did say the way is narrow, so when everyone goes one way, I usually head the other way.
I hear you on that.....
I was like that even before I became a Christian. I credit that independent streak to keeping out of a lot of trouble (but not all by any means) cause I wasn't going to be a crowd follower.
