Trump outsmarted them again!
N/A | 24 March 2018 | ResisTyr

POTUS Trump just signed an Omnibus bill, NOT a federal budget! The appropriations in the bill are "suggestions" of how Trump SHOULD spend the money. Since this is not a budget, Trump is not bound by The Constitution to spend the money as appropriated. The Demonrats screwed themselves again by not passing a federal budget. I'm here to tell you that Trump's Wall shall indeed be funded with money from this Omnibus bill! President Donald J. Trump outsmarted these fools, once again!! Haahaa!!

You’re just learning that today? I thought that was a known fact since 2008 when they let Zero steam roll them for 8 years. Republicans LOVE to be the minority so they can whine about how they can’t do anything. Now they have it all and they have proven how deep state they are. This bill is THEIR fault.

“Are we to assume that being a FReeper is not only dependent upon signup dates, but also numbers of postings?”

Your assumption holds true on guitar and drum blogs. I would wish that it wasn’t the case. But it happens. Not that I really get chapped (because the internet didn’t used to be available at sea), but the haughty reside everywhere, and sometimes you either have to reason things out or simply don’t respond, as it only encourages them.

An omnibus bill is not an appropriation.

Trump could, I believe, declare the wall a national security and defense project, and fund it out of the defense discretionary fund.

Variations of this idea have been going around since yesterday, but it’s just not true.

The Omnibus bill is a law, and all of the spending directives, but more importantly spending prohibitions, carry the full weight of law.

His family being threatened is b.s. why would this moron place himself in a position of power knowing he could be later blackmailed? He’s a sellout pure and simple and those of us who supported and voted for him were simply screwed. Follow the money and sure he enriched himself.

“Trump outsmarted them again!”

Hell he did, he has been consumed by the swamp he vowed to drain. No wall, no border security, planned parenthood, National Endowment for the Arts etc. He even admitted to not reading it before he signed it. The RATS will take the House and will move to impeach.

My thoughts exactly!

I’ve been on the MAGA Express until this happened. Now I do not know what to think.

Yes, the Cruzlims and Paulistinians are certainly feeling their oats today. As if Cruz and Paul are bystanders to the Senate’s business.

Where is the conservative “gang” opposing McConnell and calling for him to resign? Calling for Mueller to be fired? That there is none tells you all you need to know about beltway bought and paid for career politician “conservatives.”

This stinking pile of garbage bill wasn’t born yesterday. The fact is the “conservatives” in Congress let us down. POTUS was delt a bad hand and is playing from a weak position due to Mueller and GOP acquiescence to him.

Really, none of this should be a surprise. That panty waist “conservatives” think Trump is the problem is pathetic. This is WAY bigger than him.

You should think that this is what happens when a POTUS tries to govern without the support of his own party. The GOP has put Trump in an impossible situation. They’ve mostly trashed his first term, IMO. There will be a GOP Civil War after the midterms. Guaranteed.

Bring it on. Trump never quits. Sadly, the same can’t be said for many panty waist “conservatives” today. Buckle up, buttercup.

But he did sell himself as some Master-Negotiator.

If he could not handle the challenges of the job, he should not have applied.

I expected more. I’m disappointed.
