You should think that this is what happens when a POTUS tries to govern without the support of his own party. The GOP has put Trump in an impossible situation. They’ve mostly trashed his first term, IMO. There will be a GOP Civil War after the midterms. Guaranteed.
But he did sell himself as some Master-Negotiator.
If he could not handle the challenges of the job, he should not have applied.
