POTUS Trump just signed an Omnibus bill, NOT a federal budget! The appropriations in the bill are "suggestions" of how Trump SHOULD spend the money. Since this is not a budget, Trump is not bound by The Constitution to spend the money as appropriated. The Demonrats screwed themselves again by not passing a federal budget. I'm here to tell you that Trump's Wall shall indeed be funded with money from this Omnibus bill! President Donald J. Trump outsmarted these fools, once again!! Haahaa!!

Maybe, but I'm not a bean counter so I don't know.
But what I do know is that Trump was elected to do one thing. One issue elected Trump. To stop the invasion of America hating third world trash and repatriate those already here illegally. Thus far I have not seen much progress on that.
We got lots regs removed, great. We got conservative judges, super great. We got money for the military, great again, (why is our military fighting in just about every damn on conflict on the planet?) all good, but what about the issue that elected Trump? Can we have a little progress on that please? Build the freakin wall!

The claimed technicality between an omnibus bill and a budget bill is that one is enforceable and the other is not is incorrect. Both are passed by a vote of both houses of Congress and signed by the President.
In reality neither the word budget or omnibus appear anywhere in the text of the Constitution. What does appear, in Article one, section 9 of the Constitution is the statement that, “no Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law.” An omnibus bill is an appropriation and it is law.

I’m inclined to give Trump the benefit on this one. The GOP, however, are doing what they always do and that is screw their constituents.

Do they know how much President Trump snuck into the bill? This is what President Obama did the entire time. President Trump just played them all at their own game. He said multiple times we rushed the bill so fast no one has even had time to read the whole thing. This bill puts funds in place for the wall, it has money in it to protect witnesses with safe houses and caravans, money in it to make sure dead people and illegals don't vote Democrat anymore, money to fund the Office of Inspector General and the Inspector Generl, even money in it to pay for possible trials and tribunals. These things are snuck into the bill in the oddest places and with the least wording. All the people flip flopping on President Trump are doing the same thing they preached not to do by listening ONLY to the FAKE STREAM NEWS headlines and don't dig deeper…. If you don't believe it read it in the above link. Some of the ignorance and hypocrisy from Limbaugh and Ann Coulter is astounding!

Per the U.S. Constitution…the President must adhere to a Budget set forth by Congress and direct the expenditures as provided therein.
This is another one of those big Porkulus Bills, like they gave Obama for 8 years. This is not a Budget..

The details of this action are set forth in the enclosed memorandum from the Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Trump could have negotiated wall funding. They are spending $1.7T, every fed department gets a raise, yet there is NO funding in the bill at all for his #1 campaign promise.
I’m not interested in yoru games with stats. I want the country saved. I moved 2300 miles to escape Mexifornia. If the invasion continues, there will be no place to move to that resembled the US.
You can be happy with that if you like. I am not.
Trump could, I believe, declare the wall a national security and defense project, and fund it out of the defense discretionary fund....
There are funds for the Army Corp of Engineers in the Omnibus (saw a Twitter post of around $80 bil??) for “national security purposes.

It would be great if this is possible to accomplish using the Omnibus budget money allocated to the Army Corp of Engineers to build the wall cutting out the private sector and Fed Gov interference.
