Does anybody even know anybody who joined NRA for the discounts?

The American left has many distorted views of the world. Their panting salivating joy over the now seemingly endless list of companies that have withdrawn discounts from NRA members is just the latest example of its social maladjustment.

The left’s everyday lives serve as a reminder that merely living in America and even being born in America doesn’t make one truly an American. They might live in America, but they are not Americans.

They don’t understand the laws and customs we Americans follow nor do they want to; ignorance of, and separation from, American culture has become point of pride to these people. They see themselves as citizens of the “world” as some have actually said.

This is what makes these corporate discount withdrawals so foolish. They have no up side for the companies but plenty of down side. So why do they do these things?

Why would they follow an 18 year old who is the media anointed leader of the Democrats, a party which is largely out of step with America already?

Let that sink in: The Democrat party is now being led by an 18 year- old child who is so drunk with power he has threatened The NRA, FEDEX and UPS. He has called for a boycott of Florida by Spring breakers and actually said “I will not allow Governor Scott to remove Sheriff Israel.”

This brings us back to the discount discontinuations.

Does anybody even know anybody who joined NRA for the discounts? Of course not. I’ve been a life member for at least ten years and never once thought about accessing a discount from any of the cowardly companies that have joined the attacks on the NRA.

I’m sure I’m not alone in this position. That the left sees the NRA as a shopping club while we know it is a civil rights organization is a clear example of the difference between us and them.

The left doesn’t live in the world we NRA members and supporters live in. They have no idea how we live. They have never travel through rural America and spoken to the people who elected Donald Trump.

They and the cowardly companies that have fallen in line behind a child don’t realize that we will merely stay elsewhere, fly with different carriers, be insured by others and live our lives as we always have.

The corporate cowards are the ones who will lose customers who will not come back. They should ask the NFL about that. They will be left to offer discounts to the far left who don’t live the lives that caused these companies to offer us discounts in the first place.

When they come to their senses they will be left with a mess – children don’t clean up after themselves; and we will still be supporting the NRA. We will be stronger and so will the NRA.

I joined this past Sunday evening for the first time. I didn’t even look to see what discounts they offer.

I usually decline the free gifts from an organization, but I REALLY wanted the NRA ball cap, so I took it.

No! Frankly all the offers that I got and keep getting are nothing but spam to me. I joined the National Rifle Association to to support the cause and the Second Amendment and that’s it.

I’ve been an NRA Member for Decades.

Never use the Discounts, but I do use my small NRA Camo Duffel Bag as a Carryon when I fly just to see people wince when they see the NRA Logo, starting with the TSA Guys...

That would be great. No discount but earn points toward an AR-15, or 5.56 ammo, or firearm safety classes.

There’s a buffet?! I really have to read stuff more carefully...

And no, the discounts are a means for a company to try to attract business and no on in the NRA thinks of them as any sort of benefit. These companies are stupid on top of being elitist radical leftist bigots and deserve to go bankrupt.

The Kid is nothing but a modern day Brown Shirt and his actions remind us why the Founders in their wisdom said the RIGHT to Keep and Bear Arms “shall not be infringed”.

You will also notice that these attacks from the Left are not just on the RKBA, but Free Speech itself.

One word answer regarding my support of the Second Amendment, “Liberals”.

They are nothing but

I always thought everyone joined, so the NRA would have money to protect our 2nd Amendment Rights. There’s Discounts TOO?

Nobody should a group for retail discounts. You can get low fares on airlines from a hundred free websites. You can get low room rates at hotels and for rental cars the same way.

In fact the best way to get the best possible deal on a car rental or a hotel is to call them directly and negotiate yourself. A few years ago mu wife got a 1 week rental on a Cadillac SUV for less than the published discount price of a mid-size sedan, all with no mileage charge. We have gone to Hilton Head 7 times and never paid anything close to the deepest discount on condos.

The best deal we got was a waterfront 1,200 sq. ft. condo on Hilton Head for $350.00..for 3 WEEKS! Just remember to airline rule....an empty seat on a plane that WILL fly regardless of how many passengers on it, is a loser for the airline...any money made to fill the seat is money found.
The same rule applies to car rentals and hotels/condos...any day that the unit is not generating revenue is a lost day...they can’t get that day back.

No joke. I remember wishing they would keep the hat and the magazine and apply the money that it took to make them and ship them to protecting our rights.

By the way, I have a bunch of factory-sealed 5.56 to get rid of and I am desperate for cash. Can anyone recommend a good way to sell it? Prefer to deal locally.

No one joined for the discounts, but I’m hearing a lot of people are joining in retaliation to dropping of them by these companies.

I don’t recall offhand any discounts I have ever taken advantage of from the NRA. My dad was Life long Member of the NRA...we never understood the NRA to be anything more than an educational organization teaching people safe shooting, discussing the pros and cons of various types of guns and a staunch supporter of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution and a huge, humongous supporter of the 2nd Amendment.

I will not be supporting any company on any list that boycotts the NRA. And additionally:

HOGG does not represent adults. What fools are the followers.

....or the free magazine, or the pocket knife. No, we join the NRA to preserve our rights under the 2nd amendment. Renew and join.
