For Ruger fans, many love the Ruger 10/22 Takedown rifle. But, have you seen the 9mm carbine?
If the smaller caliber cant get the job done, the new Ruger PC carbine 9mm will.
This is perfect for the SHTF rifle, this little takedown rifle is modeled after the 10/22 and obviously has more power than .22-caliber takedown rifles.
The Ruger PC Carbine comes in handy for personal defense and hunting at short-range.
Add a suppressor like 22plinkster did and your neighbors wont even know that youre out plinking. Really great for a bugout gun.
So what is so great about this Ruger PC Carbine 9mm?
Not only is it extremely accurate, but its practical and versatile, here are some of its features:
-Has interchangeable magazine wells for use of common Ruger® and Glock® magazines.
-Accurate sighting system with adjustable ghost ring rear aperture sight and non-glare, protected blade front sight.
-Dead blow action features a custom tungsten dead blow weight that shortens bolt travel and reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise. Bolt is machined from heat treated... Read and see the Ruger PC 9mm in action here.
Nice rifle! Wonder what it will cost? Over the years I’ve become a fan of the 9mm in a handgun. Love the S&W MP.
Yes...a very nice little model. I’m gonna guess that the price will be at or around $499. At least, I’m hoping.
Ruger is going to sell these as fast as they can make them.
No scope?
“No scope?””..........
It’s intended for short range, not long distant shooting.
Receiver has an integrated Picatinny rail. Perfect for a micro red dot.
And put an Aimpoint Micro on it.
Already sold out at most wholesalers.
I’m not that impressed with the 9mm round. Why not just buy an M1 if you want a smaller caliber?
People went GaGa over the 9mm just because they can pack 20 rounds or more in a mag. 9mm is just an overglorified 38 special. Not enough stopping power.
Actually the .38 SPCL is better than the 9mm.
I may need one of these. Itd be nice to see a .45 version. I own a 10-22 Takedown and absolutely love it.

That might make me decide to buy one more weapon!
It’s got a 1913/Picatinny base for your own scope.
Looks almost like the Marlin Campgun. My dad has it in .45ACP - the Nine’s at gun shows not so popular and the Marlin .45 goes for around $1200.
Wish he’d presented it without the scope and silencer. Would liked to have seen him run it “in the raw”.
Nice concept though. Will fit nicely in a backpack, or bagged up and tied to the side or top of a backpack.
Did it jam once? The first mag he shot?
Suggested retail at the Ruger site...$649.
.45 version prototypes:
Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the majority of the new rifles, pistols and shotguns being brought onto the market are butt-ugly?
