I’m not that impressed with the 9mm round. Why not just buy an M1 if you want a smaller caliber?
People went GaGa over the 9mm just because they can pack 20 rounds or more in a mag. 9mm is just an overglorified 38 special. Not enough stopping power.
Actually the .38 SPCL is better than the 9mm.

Um...let’s just say that if I had an M-1 Carbine (before my unfortunate canoeing accident of course) it would be in need of a major over haul. It’s hard to find complete parts kits at reasonable prices these days. And the ammo is a unique ammo (except for the AMT Automag III pistol).
What I like about the PC9 is that the new version comes with an insert which allows you to use Glock magazines. That’s handy! It’s also a takedown weapon so it’s easy to store. I really like that too.
Either way the PC9 is already hard as heck to find.
