One family member is prone to motion sickness and has tried ginger without success, and another has Meniere’s disease. Not sure ginger tea would work quickly enough for the Meniere’s nausea.

My dad brought that remedy back from Vietnam. Lots of fungal stuff going around there. Also Bag Balm for certain areas that chap easily in hot and humid weather.

Honey! You can eat it and use it to treat wounds. Bacteria cannot live in it and it stays good forever.

You can try peppermint or spearmint oil. Sometimes that works. Works for mild headaches as well. Get the good stuff, pure essential oil not perfume oil.
Chamomile tea may also help.
I once went a month after a surgery where I could not eat anything besides clear liquids.
Great diet. I lost 15 pounds. Not exactly good for building up your strength though.

Raw honey, though, I believe, not processed honey.

Processed honey works as does sugar.
Saccharine not so much. :)
On young children, under the age of one it is best to use the sugar rather then honey.
