The attorney for Alabama Republican Senate Candidate Roy Moore appeared today for a brief press statement and provided material that strongly suggests the documents provided by the accusers attorney, Gloria Allred, were forged. In a subsequent follow-up interview with Allred she refused to say the documents were not forged.
Apparently Judge Roy Moore was the presiding judge in the divorce case of Beverly Young Nelson. The signature on the yearbook Mrs. Nelson provides as evidence, via Gloria Allred, looks like it was taken from the judge’s signature on her previously undisclosed divorce documents.

In other words, Allred and her client are both lying about Judge Moore.

All the makings of another Dan Rather type forgery.
Allred should be disbarrred for making up the evidence in order to discredit a former judge.

I’m convinced her entry into this political freak show will actually end up HELPING Moore.
By jumping the gun on this Gloria Allred has just blown this entire lame attack to pieces. You can't go much further left than MSNBC; they can see that this whole thing is going to fizzle out now. There likely will be a backlash which will cause Moore's victory to be even more dramatic. Now if we can just get the message to the RINO traitors before they make even bigger fools out of themselves.

It’s obvious to me, very obvious in fact, that the entry is signed by a guy named Roy. Someone then added “Moore, DA and the rest. The number 7s are different than the ones above.
It would be easy to just check the yearbook for another guy named Ray.
They must have eventually divorced though because her name was Harris...now it's Nelson.
In reality, I'll bet only 1 out of a 100,000 can name the Judge who signed their divorce papers.

There was never an actual hearing in the case. All of the initial documents were signed by a different district judge, W. D. Russell. On May 25, 1999, Judge Russell scheduled the first hearing for the case for June 16.
But that hearing never took place. In June, before the scheduled hearing was set to take place, she filed for a motion to “continue” (delay) the hearing because she and her husband “are going to counseling and are attempting to reconcile.”
A month later, she filed a motion to dismiss the case. That is the document Moore signed, and given there was no hearing, there is no reason the divorce action would have required her to enter the courthouse or have contact with Moore.

I understand the tactics being employed. However this latest Gloria Allred development is the memorable accusation for many, because of Allred’s celebrity status and her client is the only one who had a news conference where she claimed that Moore “sexually assaulted” her. The evidence Allred and her amateur forger client presented is now falling apart in a dramatic way.
The entire attack on Judge Moore is now tainted and makes him look like the victim of a giant conspiracy. This is likely to have the opposite effect on the Alabama electorate than what was intended.
The forgery is friggin’ obvious. Shame on Hannity, Judge Janeen et al. It sounds like a good and decent man is being set up and ridiculed.
Who knows what reality is here, but if I were on a jury evaluating this piece of evidence, I would have to say that the yearbook signature is nowhere near conclusive to prove anything about Judge Moore.
