Youre probably thinking no way, but Youtuber Eric of IraqVeteran8888 shoots one indoor. It just goes to show, there seems to be no firearm that cant be fitted with a suppressor these days.
Its hard to tell from a video exactly how much quieter this suppressor (Aklys Hayde) made this rifle. But the fact that Eric was able to fire this 50 caliber twice back-to-back indoor without hearing protection says a lot!
We're just wondering what kind of extreme suppressor will be built next to top this one! See the suppressed .50 cal shot indoor video here.

No.
Suppressors don’t do what most people think.

With enough steel and baffels, you can suppress anything:

Don’t you know? You can buy silencers that reduce the sound a huge weapon makes to a slight high-pitched “phht!” whisper sound just like on TV. And at Walmart, next to the diapers and beer!!!!
This must be stopped! What if the guy in LV had one??? Good thing he didn’t, huh? He just not have needed diapers and beer that day!!

The only reason I can think of is to show off your 50 cal.

I had a friend that would have needed that exact model for his farts.

"The Mythbusters" had an epi firing various weapons into water, and I think they used an indoor swimming pool for the .50 fired from a Barrett.
(I stopped watching them after they started hanging with Colbert and Obama.)

If the Vegas shooter had a 50, he might have penetrated those fuel tanks.

I’ll pass. Bad enough with some of the larger calibers that people try indoors. Even 5.56 is really too much, plus the bad powder used in the import ammo is nausiating.

Hey! a suppressed .22 short is just a pfft! Don't laugh at the .22 - it can get the job done. A couple rounds in the pelvis, Elvis.

I like the suppressed .22LR, and I shoot it without hearing protection if no one else is shooting. With subsonic ammo in my Ruger 10-22, it’s quieter than most air rifles.

Agreed. Why buy a .50 and shoot it at pistol ranges?
Now those guys that go out West and shoot rocks at 1+ miles sound like they're onto a good time.
I used to love takin a 13.5# class up on a big hill at the hunt club to take out some fire ant mounds in a big cutover. Great fun! d:^D

It is insanity to fire a .50 cal indoors, with or without a suppressor.

Exactly - not enough distance to make indoor shooting with such a weapon practical - unless they have some 500 yard and longer indoor ranges.....

Interesting. I googled it (of course) and it looks pretty cool.
Don’t let the “experts” in the msm and leftist congress see this! They will shut i down!
