While the House Minority Leader was participating in the town hall meeting televised on CNN Wednesday night, she suffered awkward brain freezes, stared at the audience, and waved her hands while she appeared to be struggling to speak.

Just getting old and having a hard time remembering her lines. Happens to a lot of actors and actresses. Luckily doing prerecorded tv and movies, they can get multiple takes for each part. Look at John Voight. Studders and stammers in live speaking and his scenes in later movies got shorter and shorter. Lots of one liners basically.

I’m In public right now so can’t watch the vid but different people are affected differently by dementia. My dad got that aphasia right away and within a few years could not speak. He could get out a string of “word salad” but couldn’t say what he was trying to say. My mom speaks so

People of a certain age become susceptible to mini strokes and these can lead to vascular dementia.

Vascular dementia can cause the person suffering from it to forget what they're talking about mid-sentence, loose short term recall of recent events, etc. Vascular dementia can continue to progress due to lack of exercise, use of medications to slow the progress and even diet can affect it.

My guess is she has vascular dementia.

I think that she has been successful finding good plastic surgeons to work on her aging face. She clearly has had no luck finding anything or anybody that could slow the aging/deterioration of her brain cells—they are dying and decaying rapidly now.
