I’m In public right now so can’t watch the vid but different people are affected differently by dementia. My dad got that aphasia right away and within a few years could not speak. He could get out a string of “word salad” but couldn’t say what he was trying to say. My mom speaks so
Perfectly she could fool you she doesn’t have Alzheimer’s, for a short while.

I have experienced the “word salad” effect as well. I have also seen people affected by dementia get very good at fooling others; in some cases during a casual encounter, you may not pick up on the symptoms vs daily engagement where it became more obvious.
