HOW DID HE GET PAST EVERYONE WITH ALL THE AMMO AND WEAPONS IN THE HOTEL??????
Recent reports seem to agree that he was a multi-millionaire high roller regular at the casino. One can’t help but wonder if such people are held to the same standards of scrutiny most people would be.

Most likely he broke down all of the long guns into their parts to enable him to fit the long guns into suitcases, backpacks and other inconspicuous containers.
One way to attempt to prevent that is to set up TSA type screening at the entrance to all hotels and casinos.
I don’t have an answer other than to return to diagnosing and institutionalizing mentally ill persons.
there is this new thing ... called a suitcase... it’s amazing what you can put in it...
Have you stayed in Vegas Casino hotels? They are huge. Check in is usually 1/2 mike from the elevators to your particular tower. Usually several different banks of elevators per Casino hotel. You usually have to roll your bags directly through the Casino floor. You could check in, start using multiple entrances and roll suitcases in all day.
He had been checked into the suite for three days. At various times he could go to the garage and get a golf bag or large suitcase and come up the elevator to his room. He could separate the moves by hours to not arouse a second look.
I have a hard case golf bag for airline travel. It would easily hold four such weapons and it has wheels at one end and a handle at the other — easy peasy. I have a similar case for my wife.
It’s not that hard, unless you try to do it all at once.

The Las Vegas shooter took ‘more than 10’ suitcases into his hotel suite in the days before the massacre

I have a second one. Why did he BOTHER to bring that arsenal up there? When 1-2 of those weapons would have sufficed? Even three. Why take the time and risk getting caught, bringing up a gun or two each hour over days??
Easy, in his suitcases. He was there for 5 days plenty of time to haul it all in. They don’t search your stuff at a hotel when you check in.
Easy. It is Vegas. They are not instinctively afraid of guns like New Yorkers and San Franciscans.
When Vegas has a gun show, you will see hundreds of folks lugging around thousands of guns along with cases of ammo, often the rifles not even in carry cases, just exposed to view.
Somebody moving a couple of dozen rifles in cases into a hotel on the strip wouldn’t raise an eyebrow and probably would just cause envy in the gun nuts aware he was doing so, with most people oblivious to what was inside the cases. Vegas people are still generally sane about guns. They know that 99% of gun owners are harmless, law-abiding people and that mass shooters are evil and are the problem, not the inanimate guns they choose to kill with.
Believe me, somebody bringing dozens of guns into a Vegas hotel wouldn’t alarm anybody but a few bed wetting big city liberals.
Gee, how did the thousands of patrons visiting the Shot Show this year walk in to the hotel accommodations? Because it is nothing new to see Vegas hotel guests enter with cased long guns during gun show events or walking on the Strip.
Guess you've never heard of the Vegas SHOT show, where manufacturers and dealers haul in all sorts of guns, including auto cannon, miniguns, heavy machine guns, water cooled machineguns through the lobby up to their room?
Trust me, they don't leave it in their car in the parking deck, and they don't leave them in the white trailers out front. They will either sleep in the trailer or bring them in, as FFL holders should do.
THEY WERE IN SUITCASES! HE HAD THREE DAYS TO MOVE THEM! THERE ARE 3,309 ROOMS IN THE MANDALAY BAY HOTEL, SO THOUSANDS OF GUESTS COME AND GO EACH DAY! WHY ARE WE SHOUTING?
How? Oversized golf bag? Guitar case? Suitcase? I could go on, but it wouldn’t be hard.
An AR15/AR10 will fit very nicely inside a guitar case, with room left over for ammo, handgun, etc. Would hotel staff think anything of somebody carrying a guitar case in a hotel that's going to host a music festival?
Or, how about a golf bag? I could get several rifles in a golf bag. Plus, the AR type rifle can be reduced in size by half, easily.
Not really hard to conceal 1000 rounds in suitcases.
Not like he wheeled a pallet of ammo through the lobby.
