Hard to prove either way, but that the suspicion is being put out there makes the NFL squirm in yet a new way.

The center needs to be made an example of. Suspend him for several games. If the other linemen keep this up, they need to be taught that they are employees not free agents. I don’t expect that much courage, however.

Around 20 years ago, I was camping in a tent on my parent’s property. I had a scanner which would pick up just about everything and also cell towers.

As I was scanning, I happened on a conversation between two coaches. One was from Auburn (I don’t know who he was) and the other sounded exactly like Steve Spurrier. I am convinced it was him but never got that info from the conversation.

They were talking shop and the Auburn assistant was clearly angry. He said the Black players would not block for the White ones.

I watched the game. The offensive line looked like it was doing their job. Carr made a few bad passes and a couple of really bad passes. Marshawn Lynch, who sat for the anthem, looked absolutely wretched.

It was more a case of the Raiders being the Raiders and turning in a sub-par performance.

The BLMers of the National Felon League are criminals.

As criminals, they would do or say anything to dis America and President Trump!

So this should not surprise us at all.

We could imagine that a Raider offensive tackle telling his defensive counterpart, “Smear Carr on the next play! I will slip and fall as I try to block you! Take his white honky ass out!”

Every white or even black QB in the National Felon League would back the thugs after Carr gets smeared a few times.

This would be no different than Union Dock workers taking out non union dock workers.

Now you have another reason to cut your cable and never watch ESPN/NFL or any Disney/ABC show again.

It may not matter. The impression is as corrosive as the reality.

The obvious solution is for the Raiders to boot their remaining 4 or 5 white players from the roster.

Players in the NFL have been throwing games for a long time. Washington is a good team this year though. Oakland should not have had their way with them.

Ooooo. Here we have the significance of unity. Players leaving their teammates exposed on the field of play.

A house divided cannot stand.

Didn't watch the game, but I did watch the highlights. And I admit that as a Chiefs fan, I really enjoyed watching the Raiders lose.

But a setup? No, I don't believe it. The whole team played lousy, but Carr, the man they claim got thrown under the bus, played the worst, IMHO.

He threw late, into double coverage, and underthrew his receiver - and got picked, killing his team's drive. No one sacked or hurried him, protection was good.

Later, he repeated his mistake, throwing short, late, into double coverage, and was pick-sixed.

Can't blame the offensive line, it looked like they were doing their job better than Carr. And definitely better than their defense, which was swiss cheese.

The Russians played a part in this to drive a wedge between the East Coast & the West Coast, and I’m standing behind that claim. 8>)

In baseball Pete Rose was banned for much less. His actions did not result in putting someone’s neurological status at risk. This is bad, bad business ( or as we say in Texas...buidness}

The minute your job becomes subservient to your politics, your job will suffer. When protesting becomes more important than moving the football down the field, the game is already over, whether it’s intentional, or not.
