It's an important distinction. "Guilt" requires establishment of certain levels of "proof;" the burden of establishing that proof falls on the prosecution. Failure to do that means a verdict of "Not guilty."

We're a nation of laws. Someone runs from the police, they risk getting shot and killed. Maybe the police shouldn't have engaged in that pursuit, but I understand why they made the spur-of-the-moment decision to pursue him.

I am waiting for the article on how the black leadership at the NAACP and other groups is trying to stop black on black, black on everyone else slaughter across the country. The few blacks killed by white cops yearly seem to count a lot more than almost equal numbers of blacks killed by blacks every weekend.
The blm crowd is accusing him of planting the gun, something the prosecution did not accuse him of.

I say they had a trial the Judge heard and saw the evidence and testimony and made a ruling. Think that is how it is supposed to be done in America. You may agree with the ruling you may not. Doesn’t matter either way!

The BLM/ SJW activists only threatened and then protested after the acquittal. By waiting for the judgement they thereby acknowledged the legitimacy of the legal process. Following their own logic post-acquittal, they should have been in the streets before, during and after the trial.
Regardless of their inherent illogic, what these seditious, American-hating groups are doing is attacking the legitimacy of the laws of the United States. I for one, won’t stand for that...

I remember from growing up in Baltimore of all places. A cop once told me “don’t be messin’ with the pole-ese.” I always remembered that. You mess with the police you are taking your life in your own hands.
