President Trump and his family will make their first visit to Camp David this weekend, according to the White House.
The first family heads to Camp David. Hoping everyone has a wonderful weekend, Stephanie Grisham, communications director for first lady Melania Trump, tweeted Friday evening.

Alerts of the presidents visit were issued by the federal government earlier this week, according to The Frederick News Post, which noted a Federal Aviation Administration notice being issued. Similar notifications were sent in March and May but didn't lead to a visit.
This is the first visit Trump will make as president to Camp David, which has served as a traditional country retreat for U.S. presidents. Since taking office, Trump has mostly opted to spend his weekends at his golf clubs in Florida and New Jersey.
Past presidents have used the Camp David retreat in Maryland for personal use as well as hosting foreign dignitaries. Leaders such as former U.K. Prime Ministers Winston Churchill and Tony Blair have been hosted, as well as Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Former President Jimmy Carter famously brokered the Camp David Accords between Egyptian President Anwar al-Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin.
Sorry for the double post!
He never had a nanny....just an occasional baby sitter.
It may be that Ivanka and the boys and all their children have an open invitation.
THEY are what family is all about. They're good, hard working people who excel at everything.
They've made many sacrifices along the way and the Dems have done everything they could/can think of to destroy them all. They are evil.
Lol!
Gonna start with gold fixtures...
Then some fabulous chandeliers...
especially after the last administration.
Would love to see some numbers of how often the Obama’s used this Country Home. They loved the WH ‘cushy life’ it offered them. Moochers always love what OTHERS have..
I have never seen pictures of Camp David. I would love to check the house out.
I am just so happy they are our First Family.
The one issue might be getting Barron to school. But, with the ubiquity of electronic communications he could “attend” a class remotely at least some of the time.
The only issue would be that cabinet level people might have to relocate as I believe that Camp David is quite a ways away.
Another side benefit would be that if the Whitehouse were a museum and State banquet hall then the traffic around that area in DC could be simplified because some of the roads could be reopened. If Trump needed to get to DC then he’d just take a helicopter.
Barron is already going to school up in Potomac MD so maybe it would make sense to live up at Camp David. The President could drop him off by helicopter on the way to the White House.
While Obama forced his security detail to be 5,000 miles from their families EVERY Christmas.
GMTA—that was my first thought—that it was swept for bugs and not the insect kind.
LOL!
Another reminder of why we love Trump—he just tells it like it is.
...but you know our propaganda press wouldn't have the sense to pick up on that, family if you ask them they would want to know ‘family, what does that mean’...
Trump may figure out how to squeeze 9 or 18 holes in....literally, like develop a new golf course.....
I think it would be heavenly. If nothing else, it is isolated, quiet, and safe.
Looks perfect for Barron and hopefully the grandkids to hang out occasionally.
I tried to screen-capture Clinton entertaining Arafat (blech!) but it wouldn’t let me. Way too many pictures of 0bama on there, too. I think he went ONCE? LOL! ;)
However, it’s a lovely set-up, but really dated. Let’s hope Melania can raise funds for some upgrades!
“Maybe President Trump was waiting for the First Lady and Barron to go there as a family...”
My thought, exactly.
The Donald is a luxury loving germaphobe
Cant see him loving Green Acres
Many thanks for your Trump ping list efforts.
