Nauseatingly disgusting bad comic Kathy Griffin found herself isolated late yesterday after her Tweet of a photo of herself holding President Trumps bloodied, severed head attracted protests from people of all political persuasions. Even Chelsea Clinton issued a tweet no doubt written by someone else and focused grouped in advance condemning the unfunny comics action. Ms. Griffin held firm much of the day, trying to laugh it all off as just part of her normal un-funny business, but then, after the Drudge Report had reported that the Secret Service was opening an investigation, she suddenly had a change of heart and tweeted out a 30 second insincere apology.
My only question about this whole incident is not why Ms. Griffin felt posting such a disgusting image was a proper thing to do. After all, she was just putting together an image everyone in the fake news media and the Democrat Party has been working to facilitate since Election Day by dehumanizing the President every day. No, my question is why so many on the left are going after Ms. Griffin, when they completely let Snoop Dogg off the hook when he released a video showing him shooting a mocked up Donald Trump in clown face a couple of months ago. Applying liberal logic, there can only be one answer: rampant sexism among the American left. No doubt about it.

The only picture that should be circulated is HER headshot; cut out the offensive material!
And she needs to be hauled up before a judge, along with everyone who had anything to do with that “photo shoot” including lights and cameramen, to explain themselves.
Not funny.
I had to explain to my boyfriend on the phone this morning that it wasn’t Kathy Lee Gifford who did this.
He had no idea who this Griffin creature is.

The Trump administration needs to start making an example of some Leftists.
Lots of inviting targets among third-tier celebs, none of whom will be missed when they disappear into the corrections system, then reappear in their new careers as street people.
Kathy Griffin is the poster girl for CNN. Humorless, vicious, soulless.
I didn't know to just now what this deranged jerk did for a living. I barely recognized the name. A comedian, eh? Our pop culture fell off a cliff decades ago. Just about everything sucks now-a-days. TV, music, cars,... Even the cartoons are horrible.
I agree. Liberals think their leftist world view is the norm...and part of their worldview includes using violence to handle people who deviate from their norm. The fact that this woman thought this was at all acceptable confirms this...and scares the hell out of me. All out civil war is not out of the question with these lunatics.
I asked you all once, and nicely...
Saw her a couple of times on TV. Thought that she was another boring new wave comic trying to be funny by using nasty language.
I noticed she is wearing a “pussybow blouse” for President Trump’s wife.
Tyler defense that his image not be taken literally is bogus for the simple reason that there are operaters today who are doing EXACTLY what is depicted in the image as a means of political change. This is the technical definition of Terrorism.
She belongs in jail for threatening the POTUS, and CNN needs to be shutdown never to return for condoning it and being assessor to the crime. Kill two big old fat commie birds with one swoop. Make an example out of the pair of em.
The fact that even Chelsea Clinton weighed in with, as somebody mentioned, probably a focus-grouped Tweet says the tide has turned. Probably even the Left has grown tired of the continuous tantrum and now wants to get on with their lives.
As for why a “comedian” would do something so shocking; all of comedy is intended to produce a psychological “shock.” That surprise is what produces the laugh. For example, a Sunday school teacher is having a hard time getting across the concept of a good Samaritan. So, she points to little Alison and says, “Alison, suppose you are on your way to church. You pass a man who is so badly beaten that he is covered in blood. What do you do?” Alison says, “I’d throw up!”
The laugh comes from the unexpected turn at the end of the joke. But from what I have read, this photo lacked a setup. It was just the punch line delivery by itself, which wouldn’t work as comedy with any joke ever written. Nor is the subject matter in any way funny. It was just intended for shock and attention and liberal acceptance.
One of the things I had noticed about standup comedy during the GWB presidency was the audiences didn’t laugh, they applauded the delivery. That means the audience didn’t think it was funny, but they agreed with it. This “comedian” was searching for that relationship building agreement. It apparently backfired. Comedy is all about timing. I suspect the Left would have applauded if the “joke” had been delivered ten days into Trump’s presidency when the tantrum was at its height. The worst sin in comedy is bad timing.
Comics like Joan Rivers could annihilate another comic in a roast, but I don’t think she would ever ever ever do something like this. I’m thinking too of the funny ladies out there like Lucy, Carol Burnett, Phyliss Diller etc. Funny ladies that would never ever think of doing this.
#6 Ditto all this appears to be a low-life, sicko, promotional event. Sad day...disgusting day.
Anyone remember the rodeo clown who got canned (and probably audited by the IRS) for wearing a rubber mask of Obama way back when?
As a side note, based on what I’ve heard of other Secret Service and FBI interviews, they operate on a “time block” system like some doctors. That is, if they interview someone, they *must* stay there with the interviewee for the entire time block, either one or two hours.
Typically, if it is obviously unintentional, like one young man I knew who was trying out a new camera with a friend and unintentionally caught part of the corner of the backside of a federal court building, they will quickly realize it, so will just make small talk for the rest of the time block.
Oddly enough, time blocks are *not* frivolous, and often yield very important information that would not have come out in a shorter interview.
Remember the “Detective Columbo” effect? Just as he was walking out the door after talking with the suspect, he would turn around and say, “Oh, and just one more thing...”, and that “one more thing” would turn out to be key in solving the case.
The same thing happens to doctors all the time. Right when a patient is done with their examination and are leaving, they will often say, “Oh, there is one other thing...” which will be crucial to the diagnosis, or even show an entirely different problem not seen during the exam.
But be aware, there is *no such thing* as “small talk” when you are talking with an LEO, be it a local police officer, or an FBI or Secret Service agent. They will pay attention to *everything* you say, no matter how incidental or boring you think it is.
