Anonymous sources everywhere, but never a one to believe.: Fox News reports this morning that an anonymous source “familiar with the situation” has told their reporter that Jared Kushner did not in fact raise the idea of opening a back channel of communication with Russian officials last December, contrary to all the fake reports all over the fake news media the last few days, reports that were also base solely on anonymous sources. The subject was, according to Fox’s anonymous source, actually broached by Russian officials, and would have resulted in a single telephone conversation regarding the Obama Administration’s atrocious, utter failure of a Syria policy, not a permanent back channel, as the NYTimes and WaPo have claimed. So whose anonymous source is to be believed – the ones that resulted in the Weekly World News-like, sensationalist reports in the Times and Post, or the one that results in what sounds like a far more likely scenario at Fox News? In today’s America, the lines of belief will no doubt break down largely along partisan lines.

Well, it’s not a crime. There is no crime here. There has been no crime even alleged in all of this. It’s a sham and witch hunt.
And if so, it shows that the Russian collusion fairy tail is a bunch of bull. Now, according to the Dems, the Trump team colluded with the Russians to win the election. Now if that were the case- collusion with the Russians - why on earth would Kushner need to set up a back channel to communicate with them after the election? It would seem that back channel would have already existed - otherwise, how would they have colluded with the Russians?
I would deny everything until presented with facts.
There is more going on than that..It involves investigations into other matters.
It may all be smoke..it may not...

I will just leave it at that.
For starters...even if making it up..Russia would have changed the codes..ciphers..processes..etc.
Secondly, both sides of anonymous sources indicate that Diplomatic comms were hacked . It’s just a dispute over whether Russia suggested or Flynn or Kushner suggested it.
Jared Kushner hired the very corrupt Jamie Gorlick as his lawyer.
the crime could be intentionally conspiring to compromise the security of the US - the fire in the theatre rule. Or maybe acting as a propaganda agent to the benefit a foreign country or entity? or, how about conspiracy to incite civil unrest?.
Comey said under oath that while it is illegal for government officials with security clearance to give the media real information, it is NOT illegal for them to call the media and give them fake classified information.
well, it seems to me there's a difference between telling the press that Trump is having a cup of tea when he is having a coffee, and spreading stories that are meant to undermine confidence in both the US security apparatus and the WH. As it stands now, America not only can't believe anything coming from the press, we can't believe anything coming from the FBI. So when the FBI tells us there's some threat, for instance, it's unbelievable in the current atmosphere - their credibility is now zero. And that could cost lives. And Comey is a flaming idiot.
If I ever have occasion to be around any FBI, I WILL look at them and give them my best eff U smile and say nothing.

I’m glad you said something tho, because after I replied to you, it occurred to me that maybe the entire game IS to discredit the FBI - so that when we finally get around to Hillary, the claim can then be made that the FBI can’t possibly investigate because they aren’t credible.
