'Member what they said last year? I 'member.
If youre a Democrat, 2016 was the good ol days. Back then, you were safely ensconced in the arrogant assumption that Hillary Clinton would be the next President. You were 100% sure that Donald Trump was guaranteed to suffer a humiliating defeat, and your socialist utopia would be secured by the ascension of the first female President.
Then she lost.
Can’t wait to hear the Clintons chiming in the firing... Still waiting... Any time now...
Your posting history apparently has NOTHING but tiny teasers to your blog.
Have you EVER, even ONCE, left an actual comment? If so, when was the last time?
Are you even alive?
Inquiring minds...
The article he posted was from Canada Free Press, not his blog.
So what's the big deal? Just curious....
Imagine the stress level of hundreds of corrupt Democrats who were absolutely SURE their misdeeds would never be investigated because a Hillary Presidency was assured.
Sean_Anthony has been using this forum to drive traffic EXCLUSIVELY to Canada Free Press for years. My guess is, he has a financial stake in the overall number of clicks on the site. I counted eight advertisers on one page, the last time I checked.
Speaking of checking, I looked at Sean_Anthony's posting history sometime ago, and noted that he'd only commented five times here in the last two years. Three of those comments were corrections to bad links.
The guy's a click farmer, pure and simple.
Free Republic pays for server gear and internet bandwidth to promote interactive discussion of topics relevant to Conservatism and related topics of interest to the members of this forum. You can read the FR home page for details.
Someone who owns or promotes a blog elsewhere is welcome to post articles from their blog here if they are relevant. That's what the "bloggers" part of FR is for, and no one including me objects to Canada Free Press articles appearing here.
The problem comes when two things occur:
Sean_anthony's Forum Activity Page
Take a look at that page. Go back in the history as far as you like. What do you see? NOTHING except posts of articles (severely excerpted) from ONE blog, and ZERO comments. This is counter to the rules we all attempt to play by, and it's something that people get thrown off the site for doing.
For comparison, in roughly the same time as a member of FR, I have posted 424 articles and contributed 15,970 comments as of today.
So, to answer your question "What's the big deal?":
I just thought I'd give so-called "Sean_Anthony" an opportunity to explain his (its?) unfriendly behaviour, before making a formal complaint about yet another blog bot. You know, give the guy (bot?) one last chance.
Unfortunately, no response yet. BTW, my assumption that Canada Free Press is his (its?) blog is just an assumption, but based on past experience, this is yet another case of an automatic posting mechanism from a blog to FR (and probably other interactive forums) in order to steal bandwidth and free advertising for their click-bait.
Does that answer your question?
FRegards,
Dayglored
You remind me I should not have said "ZERO" comments, more like "a negligible number" of comments.
No doubt he (it) bothered to correct the links only because that's how he makes his money.
> The guy's a click farmer, pure and simple.
Yep. See my extended comment #9 to HotHunt above.
There's a discernible pattern to Sean_Anthony's postings that indicate he's not just an average member, or participant here.
He EXCLUSIVELY posts articles from Canada Free Press, and never leaves a comment - nor does he respond to direct communications. Ever.
His posting behavior would seem to indicate that he's using this forum to drive traffic to that website for the express purpose of generating personal income. Every click on that website triggers payments from advertisers there. Last I checked, there were eight ads on a single article.
The simple arithmetic spells out what Sean_Anthony is up to.
I have supported Free Republic with donations, at first occasionally during FReepathons, and for many years now, as an automatic monthly donor.
I have no evidence that Sean_Anthony is a donor, to pay back for some of what he steals from FR, but since donors are permitted to be anonymous, I cannot say for certain that he's a complete freeloader.
But I suspect he is. And sooner or later, I or someone else will blow the whistle on him.
Nothing against Canada Free Press, you understand. Nice click-bait blog site, nothing wrong with that. My objection is to stealing FreeRepublic's resources, and giving nothing back, because that's stealing from me and all the rest of us here.

MSNBC, where terrified broadcasters report on the GOPs efforts to dismantle the Obama agenda
Now, you spend your days wandering through your worst nightmare. You stop briefly to forage for a latte, scream at someone in the comment section of a website you claim to hate, then turn back to MSNBC. There, terrified broadcasters report on the GOPs efforts to dismantle the Obama agenda.
It wasnt supposed to be this way. Russians must be behind it. Or sexism. ...Or that monster, James Comey. Oh sure, you wanted him fired, but that was last year. Now that Donald Trump has acquiesced to your former demands, its a constitutional crisis.
...Apparently, youve forgotten that - just about six months ago - people like Valerie Jarret, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi were setting the stage for Hillary to do exactly the same thing.
As the New York Post reported, Jarrett wanted Obama to save the Clinton candidacy by firing Comey:
In a last-minute effort to save Hillary Clintons bid for the White House, Barack Obamas chief adviser, Valerie Jarrett, has urged the president to fire FBI Director James Comey, according to a source close to Jarrett.
Obama and Jarrett are furious with Comey for reopening the FBIs investigation of Clintons emails just 11 days before the presidential election.
Obama fumes to Jarrett that appointing Comey was his worst mistake as president
Nancy Pelosi was also pretty sure Comey was in the wrong job as well
Its no secret that Obama harbors contempt for the FBI director. As quoted in Guilty as Sin, Obama fumes to Jarrett that appointing Comey was his worst mistake as president.
In what looked like a concerted effort to call for Comeys head, Nancy Pelosi, the minority leader in the House of Representatives, suggested that Comey might be removed from his post, saying in an interview with CNN, Maybe hes not in the right job.
And where to begin with Chuck Schumer? Bloomberg famously reported that hed lost confidence in Comey back in November, just like everyone else:
Senate Democratic leader-in-waiting Chuck Schumer said Wednesday hes lost confidence in FBI Director James Comey over his handling of the most recent disclosure in the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigationa tough rebuke to a man Schumer has long admired.
I do not have confidence in him any longer, said the New York Democrat, who has criticized as appalling Comeys decision to send a letter to lawmakers 11 days before the election disclosing the bureaus new review of e-mails potentially pertinent to the investigation of Clintons private server.
Sen. Schumer (D-NY) Said He Was Appalled At What Director Comey Did By Releasing A Letter. U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer ripped into FBI Director James Comey on Sunday for announcing he reopened the investigation into Hillary Clintons emails less than two weeks from Election Day. Asked about the situation right off the bat during his one and only debate with long shot Republican challenger Wendy Long, Schumer said he was appalled at what Director Comey did. (Kenneth Lovett, Chuck Schumer Blasts FBI Boss James Comey During Debate With GOP opponent Wendy Long, New York Daily News, 10/30/16)
Sen. Schumer (D-NY) Said He Does Not Have Confidence In Comey Any Longer For His Decision To Send A Letter Reopening The Investigation Into Clintons Private Server. Senate Democratic leader-in-waiting Chuck Schumer said Wednesday hes lost confidence in FBI Director James Comey over his handling of the most recent disclosure in the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation a tough rebuke to a man Schumer has long admired. I do not have confidence in him any longer, said the New York Democrat, who has criticized as appalling Comeys decision to send a letter to lawmakers 11 days before the election disclosing the bureaus new review of e-mails potentially pertinent to the investigation of Clintons private server. (Steven T. Dennis Schumer Says He Lost Confidence In FBIs Comey Over E-Mail Probe, Bloomberg, 11/2/16)
In A March 27th 2017 New Yorker Profile, Sen. Schumer (D-NY) Stated That You Could Say If Comey Wasnt There We Would Have Won. When you lose to a candidate who is so unpopularyes, you could say if Comey wasnt there we would have won, he went on, referring to James Comey, the F.B.I. director. But we should have won anyway, with Comey and with the hacking. (Elizabeth Kolbert, Can Chuck Schumer Check Donald Trump?, The New Yorker, 3/27/17)
If you think, even for a second, that a victorious Hillary Clinton would have kept Comey around, youre really kidding yourself. Everything we know about the Clinton machine tells us that he would have been replaced the minute she took office. All the examples above - and many, many, others - were setting the stage for the FBI Directors firing when she took office. Heck, Comey probably ended his career when he outlined all the crimes that Hillary had unintentionally committed. If not, he definitely sealed his fate when he re-opened the investigation.
Either way, had Mrs. Clinton become President, Comey would have immediately been shown the door - and Democrats would have cheered the demise of their scapegoat.
I've alerted the management a few times about Sean_Anthony's posting behavior and my suspicions. We'll see if they look into it.
Thank you for posting the entire article. In its entirety, it does provide fodder for discussion.
You've given me an idea. I've programmed in various compiled and scripted languages since 1970, so I'm surprised I didn't think of this before... Thank you for this idea!
One ought to be able to write some code to do the following without human intervention:
Oh yeah, and:
The graphic image at the top of Schumer and Pelosi didn't load from the IMG tag on the FreeRepublic page.
Even though the link itself is fine! WHY??
Because Canada Free Press blocks "hot linking"!
So CFP says "don't use our bandwidth from your site" EVEN WHILE STEALING BANDWIDTH FROM FREEREPUBLIC.
Ain't that enough to toast your muffins???
Yes. Thanks for the information.
Thanks again for the info. I appreciate it.
Thanks for your information. I appreciate it.
Thanks again. Didn’t realize it was so involved. Sounds like he has a history.
