Free Republic pays for server gear and internet bandwidth to promote interactive discussion of topics relevant to Conservatism and related topics of interest to the members of this forum. You can read the FR home page for details.
Someone who owns or promotes a blog elsewhere is welcome to post articles from their blog here if they are relevant. That's what the "bloggers" part of FR is for, and no one including me objects to Canada Free Press articles appearing here.
The problem comes when two things occur:
Sean_anthony's Forum Activity Page
Take a look at that page. Go back in the history as far as you like. What do you see? NOTHING except posts of articles (severely excerpted) from ONE blog, and ZERO comments. This is counter to the rules we all attempt to play by, and it's something that people get thrown off the site for doing.
For comparison, in roughly the same time as a member of FR, I have posted 424 articles and contributed 15,970 comments as of today.
So, to answer your question "What's the big deal?":
I just thought I'd give so-called "Sean_Anthony" an opportunity to explain his (its?) unfriendly behaviour, before making a formal complaint about yet another blog bot. You know, give the guy (bot?) one last chance.
Unfortunately, no response yet. BTW, my assumption that Canada Free Press is his (its?) blog is just an assumption, but based on past experience, this is yet another case of an automatic posting mechanism from a blog to FR (and probably other interactive forums) in order to steal bandwidth and free advertising for their click-bait.
Does that answer your question?

Dayglored
Yes. Thanks for the information.
