Problem with that is that their listeners, viewers and readers do not want to be entertained. They want to be truthfully informed.
With the bulk of the mainstream media having long ago thrown totally in with the progressive left, should anybody have to guess who won’t be coming to tonight’s annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner?
President Donald Trump stuck to his boycott of the event, and it took less than a nanosecond for a highly offended media to come across like the aggrieved party.

The White House Correspondence Dinner without the guest of honor and his wife is like going to a wedding without the bride and groom. Let them eat cake. That’s all they have.
Imagine what the President could have accomplished if he didn’t have a never Trumper as speaker of the house, a never Trumper as majority leader of the senate, a Never Trump media and court.
The press thinks we will hold the President accountable for not getting all he promised done, but we are not stupid, certainly not a stupid as them, we will hold his enemies in the press, the courts, the congress responsible.
I have seen some dinners that were actually funny...but when Obbie took office the comic part when to nasty humor (which is not humor)....tonight’s will be just a bashing of Trump (not humor) so screw um

I've always been a conservative, and I admired the press when they went after Nixon. I thought they were doing what the Press should do. Now, anything conservative is evil in their eyes

Well,I DIDN’T admire the press when they went after Nixon because even as a high school student it was very plain the vast majority of the news media was strongly biased for big government socialism. It has been, and is still ,my belief that Saudi money was the driver to get Nixon because he wanted America not dependent OPEC oil. Of all the things I doubt,coindences rank high. And it was not long after Nixon declared he wanted new energy policies that Watergate became THE news day after day. The press has long demanded Republicans be held to the strictest interpretation of any and all rules BUT Democrats must be given understanding and flexibility.
The Republicans lose because they won’t fight and stick together.
Nixon wasn’t a conservative. The reason the press hated him was because he was a major factor of putting Algier Hiss ( communist in the State department ) in prison . Hiss was FDR’s guy . JMHO
