What’s sad is, I think I could love a guy the way he wants to be loved. I could be a great partner. But my first husband was fine when we had no kids, though super jealous and I let him control me too much, but when the babe was born suddenly he remembered how much he hated mothers, and now that included me. And my second “disappeared” from me and the kids into a rather convenient mental illness. So no one appreciated my gifts. And now I don’t see the point in marriage. Never asked any alimony, don’t even get child support. I respect a man’s down time and his own time as I do my own, and I LOVE to have fun. But now I have too much responsibility to have any fun at all. But having three sons I despise man bashing. I hate it in women. Man bashing, husband-stressing wives make me sick. Sometes my own gender really bugs me, even though I have great women friends. Some women, lots of American women, play too many games.

I have done that. And in the process of traveling to visit several times I have met other guys in the terminal going for the same reason as I was. Now that she is here, she got plugged into the local community of women from her home and they are all married to American men.
Based on chatting with many men who did the same as me, most flat out reject marriage with an American woman. Some were divorced, some were never married. So the decision to go foreign was simply to get married at all. The alternative was to live life as a bachelor.
As to why they prefer foreign women, that is easy to answer. Their wives are like my own. They are modest, almost all are or were in their youth, very pretty, they are kind and the men seem content with their choice. The women are also feminine. They have long hair, hour glass waistlines, they are good homemakers, they love children and the husbands seem to be satisfied with their life.
Metmom let me put it another way. If you are a guy and you watch the old TV shows and say, I’d like a woman like June Cleaver, you know you can’t. It’s 2017 and these women really don’t exist in any great number. But if you are willing to make the sacrifice of a language/cultural barrier, you can. In fact there are more woman available to choose from than there are willing men to take them.

You don't think we men are aware of the faults of our gender? Sheesh, we joke about them all the time here. Most of us freely admit to our shortcomings, and thank our lucky stars for the wonderful women who put up with us.
The question at hand, though, is, why are American men avoiding marriage? I think the men on the thread have nailed most of the primary reasons why this is happening.
Perhaps you're offended by some of the frank and candid replies here. I understand. They're mostly from men's perspectives, which are going to differ from most women's.
If you're going to yell at men for being honest, they're just going to clam up and shut you out. Same as in real life.
Women are certainly shredded for seeing men as a means to a comfortable life, just for their money and having the men wait on them hand and foot.

Sex before marriage defiles a man as well. A woman is just as entitled to marry a pure man, a virgin, as he is and the double standard men have is a LARGE part of the problem between men and women.
Women are not blind to it or stupid. They just decided they didn't want to put up with it any more.

And what would your reaction be about women who complained that men don't talk about what kind of asset they would be for a woman?
But women bragging about their careers and education probably will be more argumentative than those that do not. Just my opinion.

I don’t have any idea of the numbers, but a lot of women are treated badly and a lot of men are also treated badly.
Married a girl from a TRADITIONAL FAMILY, from halfway around the planet. Never saw a reason to consider an American girl for something that serious.
That’s what I saw represented on FR about the Red Pill by another poster, whose account was banned and his posts deleted by the mods for what he advocated.
And yes, it was for roughing her up and basically raping her and he went on about how she went to sleep afterwards with a smile on her face.
Even though the West will eventually have to exterminate the Muslims you have to admit they have a pretty good handle on keeping the excesses of feminism in check.

Nonsense,where on earth have you been hanging out?
There are more good looking college girls than there are not-so - good -looking ones.
The behavior has certainly changed but they still have youth in their favor as far as looks go.
